THOUGH, THE POOR INSTRUCTIONS REMAIN THE SAME. br>br>I just received this today. This item is well-made and durable. It was cool to hear myself speak. It was a little off in terms of precision. I continued to experiment with portion sizes, which varied by one or two portions. After all the meals had been served, it wasn't too bad. The instructions for programming the meals were a major flaw. What a case of a lack of guidance. I spent an hour setting and resetting until I realized that the first setting after the clock is what determines how many meals you can set later. When the word "meal" appears for the first time, press the up arrow until all 1234 (if you wanted a total of 4) are displayed. The number of people you can program is determined by this. If you skip this step and think you can just press "1" to do one meal setting at a time, you'll be crying and wondering where the other three meal settings went for an hour like I did. The directions state that you should hold down the "setting" button to lock in your settings, but this is only done at the end when you've finished all of the meals. According to the directions, you should do one at a time and then set them aside. It's finished once it's been set. There is no way to go back if you make a mistake. Restart the game from the beginning. If everything goes according to plan, my cat will be alive when I return from my vacation. In a month, I'll post an update.

1. The cat dish is wide and deep, unlike other feeders I've tried, so kibble doesn't fall out easily when cats are eating.
2. The lid is firmly fastened. My cats have attempted, but failed, to nudge it open.
3. If you use batteries, it will last a long time and you won't have to keep it plugged in all of the time.
4. Simply remove the bowl and wipe it down with a damp cloth to keep it clean. The opening is also simple to clean. Not only for the early morning wake-up calls, but also for portioning out the meals. We're now feeding him dry food four times per day; two 3- two one-portion snacks and two one-portion meals He would nag us all day long, as if he hadn't eaten in weeks. The only disadvantage is that he frequently sits vigil near the feeder. Waiting. waiting. br>br>PS He tried to tamper with it at first, but the lid is pretty secure, and I firmly said No. That's something he's no longer concerned about. br>br>PSS: Here's how I deciphered the screen: I take the feeding tray out of the way, pick up the feeder, and place it on the counter; The touch screen is fully visible after gently tipping it backwards. This had piqued my interest. I made sure to follow all of the instructions for configuring the settings. Unfortunately, during my week-long vacation, the feeder did not release any food. I'm glad I had two extra bowls of food on hand in case something went wrong. When I returned from vacation, I noticed there was no food left in the bowl, so I lifted the top lid to reveal his cat food, which had been filled to the brim and had not been touched. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this purchase and intend to return it because I can't trust it to feed my cat while I'm gone.

Around 6 p. m. , our cat meows in our bedroom. I feed her dry food in the morning and wet food at night because she believes this is her breakfast time. I've programmed the PetLibro to dispense two portions at 6 p. m. 15 a. m. , followed by three more portions (totaling about 1/4 cup) at 6 p. m. 45 am. There will be no more morning meowing, and she will no longer puke up her breakfast after inhaling it! A double- For me, it is a victory. For our two bunnies (we have two), we have a second PetLibro outside. I've prepared a 6-person meal: 30 a. m. , with 5 portions (roughly a quarter cup), and that's it for their morning meal. Mornings are now a breeze, thanks to the water jugs in both locations. We had to come up with a PVC pipe system to hide the cord on the outside bunny feeder because they will chew the wire if they get their teeth on it, but it was a fairly simple task. I considered using only the batteries for the outside feeder, but I wasn't sure how long that would last. As a result, the PVC pipe was rigged and the back-up system was installed. As advised, charge your batteries. Because they only eat once a day, I can stuff these with WEEKS of food. They are fantastic.
