The harness can be adjusted to fit your specific needs. My Schnauzer makes an attempt to flee, as well. This harness won't let you down.
A small, I believe, will suffice. They have a lot of flexibility. This was the closest fit I could find for my dog, who had a large belly but a small neck.
It's ideal for the summer, in my opinion. Just keep an eye on whether or not the clip is broken when it arrives. Mine was broken in half when it arrived.
I'm not sure how small it could get. It was, however, a tight squeeze. But then again, it could just be my chubby chihuahua. It took some time to adjust, but once I did, it was perfect.

I purchased four of these harnesses because the price was reasonable and I was familiar with the voyager brand. Here in New York City, it's a well-known brand. I foster dogs and volunteer at local animal shelters, so I needed a wide range of harnesses. br>br>The colors are vibrant, and they appear to be accurate to the photographs. Blue and red are my personal favorites. Even the most rambunctious puppies can wear these harnesses. They simply clip on the back and place their two front paws in the holes. Boom. I'm all set. I also prefer this method to slipping over the dog's head because some dogs dislike being reached over. br>br>They're soft and squishy with mesh, so they're a breathable fabric that I can wear while walking my dogs in the summer (but not on hot pavement!). The strappy parts have some sort of reflective threading, which should help with visibility at night. br>br>The sizes are standard throughout the harness world, but adjustable in different spots for dogs that are rotund or svelte, tall or short: my 10 pound Papillion fits the XS, a foster bichon mix of 18 lbs fits the small, and my neighbors mix of who-knows-what fits the medium. knows- What size fits my pit, who is roughly -35lbs (he has a deep chest) and what size fits his 35lbs (he has a deep chest) fits the med, and what size fits his 35lbs (he has a deep chest) fits the large? 40lbs. Despite this, the harness was far too large, even when it was reduced to the smallest size possible. Even if it had fit in that small space, it would have been un-usable. wearable. Because all of the chest-size adjustment is on one side (one buckle), the smallest size has one "arm hole" that is significantly smaller than the other, and the chest-piece is pulled off. By adjusting only one side, the center can be reached. To put it another way, as the harness is tightened, it becomes more asymmetrical. Both sides of the neck are adjustable (two buckles) and the neck size is correct. It might have fit him better if the chest adjustment had two buckles (one on each side), and it would have remained symmetrical in any case. Unfortunately, it did not work out because the harness appears to be in good condition. made, and the concept is sound, in my opinion. In my opinion, it was just poor execution to save a few pennies on a buckle.

I've included a chart for the harness I received, which differs from the one reviewed by another reviewer. If the sizing was accurate, I would reorder. It was far too big, but it appeared to be well-made with thick straps. It's simple to change.
Best pet supplies voyager is the subject of this review. I purchased the small size, which is perfect for my 5-foot-tall daughter. 6 pound chihuahua is a good chihuahua. Her neck is 9 inches long, and her chest circumference is about 13 inches. Excellent craftsmanship. The appearance and feel of the product are both sturdy.
My puppy despises wearing harnesses, and I had to return a previous product because it caused her to act like a demon. She initially despised this product, and she still does, but after a brief but intense psychedelic experience with something powerful like freeze-dried liver or Sebastian, her favorite fluffy duck toy, she forgets about it. I leave it a little loose so she doesn't feel hemmed in. I don't leave her in it for long periods of time, but when I take her to the vet or go for a walk with our adult dog on our property, we need to keep this future escape artist contained. The material is also soft but firm, and the product hugs her chest in a way that reminds me of a thunder vest. Overall, I'm glad she'll be able to enjoy the walk with her brother until she realizes she's part of it - When this happens, she jumps and rolls around, attempting to escape, but treats or a tennis ball usually solve the problem. br>br>Excellent item.
This is a well-made harness that fits my 14-pound rat terrier perfectly. The adjustments are as tight as they can be. When it's time to leave, she takes a step in the leg area (I'm not kidding). The mesh appears to be a good fit - better than the harnesses with the straps that she chewed on. It's a great deal. This is a brand that I would purchase again.
So I had a XS Voyager harness on my Pom for the past 5 years. This year, I noticed that the back clasps on her spine had become extremely tight, and because that piece isn't adjustable, I purchased a new voyager harness in the Small size. The small is just a tad too big, even at the tightest settings. It hangs a little too close to her chest and armpits, but it fits perfectly on her back. I wish it fit a little better, but aside from that, it's a fantastic harness. br>Through a lot of travel, walks, and other activities, our XS lasted 5 years. Despite the fact that it has been in use for a long time, it still looks brand new. So I'm hoping for the same from this harness!.
