As a result, I went ahead and bought it. I wasn't sure how big the bow would look on my cat (he's 10 months old and weighs around 10 pounds), but it's the cutest thing ever! br>I take my cat, Biscuits, for a leash walk around the neighborhood, and he gets a lot of attention. While my cat is used to wearing clothes, leashes, and collars, I believe that the bow is soft and subtle enough that any cat who wears a collar would learn to tolerate it in a matter of days. Take a look at these incredibly attractive young men. Without a bow tie, the big boy doesn't feel proper, and it's a one-of-a-kind option for him. The little man enjoys playing in the kitchen sink, and the ascot has held up well. We've found them laying around the house on occasion, and they've broken away while playing fights, but they haven't worn out yet. These young men are rough on each other.
I ordered a collar with a metal buckle, and the breakaway feature didn't work well, which I assume is due to metal's lack of pliable/flexibility, at least in cat collars.
