The blanket has a double stitched edging for added strength and durability. Through the whole piece, I did not find any loose threads or missed stitches. Clearly, a small pet would enjoy this, whether it be a dog or a cat. The blanket was a little smaller than I expected it to be, since I didn't stop to measure the size before I bought it. However, aside from the fact that it was a bit on the small side, it is a great There's a small dog bed that I use this blanket in, and it's like a cave. There's nothing better for my poodles than playing with.
