In a nutshell, There is a Green Cheeked Conure in my house. My son freaks out with fear if I do not have part of the cover open. The others kept getting chewed up by him. So far, I have ruined three. Four years ago, I posted my third. As soon as he noticed he could see out, he started talking and clicking like a happy kitten. You won't be chewing any more After I turned off the video, he started yelling. I tried to get him to say goodnight here, but he didn't do it until after I turned off the camera. I am in bed! I am in bed! I really like this cover because it works for him.

It is a nice and strong material. The item is dark and light weight, but the picture gives the appearance that it slips over the cage when in fact, it is designed as a wraparound with a separate top piece that velcros on both sides, overlapping the cage's top. Wraparounds come with hooks that point sideways that make them difficult to quickly attach and detach from cages. Further, the opening sides of the wrap have magnets on them to close the front, but this makes it annoyingly difficult for me to wrap it around the cage, because the magnets keep getting attached to various places on the cage when I try to wrap it. It would be much easier to use a one-piece that has the front open and the top sewn to the sides. The front would slip over and the front would be held open with velcro.

At first, I thought there would be a problem. It turns out not to be one! The added benefit is huge! A total of four hooks and four magnets are attached to the top and sides of the cage so that it can easily be attached, or open only the sides of the cage or just the front of the cage. If only one side of the cage needs to be blocked, you might do so. Using it is easy no matter what you want to do. A top piece is separate from the body. Velcro is used to attach it. Having been able to remove just the top to provide our bird babies with light on their first day home seemed to comfort them. The cover is not transparent so we were able to remove just the top for light. The heated perch and heater stayed really warm underneath the cover because we put the heater and perch on the side and added a cover. The flight cage also held a considerable amount of weight. It's worth it to have this cover because of its versatility.

It becomes a bigger pain when you open it. There is so much extra material that it leaves so much extra material that it is just too much. It hooks to the cage along the back and the sides open on the front wrap around to cover the entire back. Trying to make an adjustment on a foldover view is much more complicated than I intended since I am making a cage cover for a bird. To take it off every morning I have to take it off completely, so I have to spend more time in the evenings placing it just so I can pull the cage off the wall a bit so I can walk behind it to put it on and take it off. That was a real pain in the arse! In response, I stopped using it, and have been using a blanket instead any bird owner knows a blanket is much easier and does not require hooks or magnets or a removable.

It is misleading. The product claims to fit up to 37x23x48, but in reality it doesn't. There was too much space in my cage, so I had to downsize it. It led us in the wrong direction and they refunded deducted money so I lost some of the money I paid. If your cage does not comply with these measurements, I would strongly suggest against it.

It works perfectly for opening and closing the front of the cage since I like to keep three sides covered all the time. The shower head is easy to wash, I just hose it down in the shower.

It goes easily between 30 and 35. The dimensions of the clothing are 5" (wide)*18". (deep- 5" The user interface is much simpler than what we were previously using. We only needed to make some adjustments and practice to decide to not Quite nice and dark, seems to do a good job of blocking out the light, but is breathable as well.

With the large bird cage I have, this works well. Due to the fact that the cage is not flat, I didn't use the top part of the cage. It still fit ok, but It would be better to have more hooks since that would enable the cage to be more flexible, but I was able to get them near the corners of my cage. There is a gap as you can see from the picture when I am impatient and don't secure the entire piece. As it is difficult to remove it all the way, I leave it on two sides (against the wall) all the time. My little flock is kept from being disturbed at night by my nosy nocturnal cats due to this.
