*I love how light it is and how easy it is to put on. It covers half of the cage which is fine with me so the birds get to look out upon the upper level. *Really love this cover and will buy it again if needed.

I think that the plastic in this is not good quality and, yes, it is dark on the inside, but I don't think the birds will be able to eat it.
