It's exactly what you expect - a solid piece of steel with sharp points on both ends Use caution when throwing. Alternatively, you could do what I did and give it as a gift to a teenager. He's always been a nice kid, but now he's nice and dangerous.

This is something I find appealing: ), but I'm going to change my mind. It's a well-made product, but after using it, I believe that reducing the weight to one pound would make it much more functional.
Fortunately, I've never had to use this product in self-defense, but I like the weight of the torpedo thrower and the ease with which I could throw it at someone if I needed to.
