In the heater unit, I used flexible 3 wire conduit made from 12 gauge from Home Depot, then connected the white wire to the white wire, the green wire to the green wire, and the black wire to the grey wire. I love how it works!
Since I am using 10 on two units without experiencing any issues, I don't know what is recommended.

They put all the relevant information right on the unit itself, so if you read the instructions it will make sense. It smoked for a minute on first run, but once it got going it wasn't bad anymore. I read some reviews that said it smoked for many hours on the first run, but mine didn't. Heat up quickly, then hold at that temperature. My appreciation for what you have done for me cannot be overstated. The package was delivered early, arrived quickly, and was of great quality.
If you have a sauna set up and do your research on how it should be done, then this heater is perfect A combination of rock, ventilation, and insulation. As I built a 4'x4'x7' sauna (a bit bigger than the heater manufacturer recommends), it reached a temperature of 170° in Denver even during the middle of winter. Additionally, I would recommend watching the video on the company website describing the installation process. In spite of that, here are some things I learned about I suggest that you 1) get The heater does not come with any of them, and yes, they are vital. In a sauna, the stone is the core and the heater is only used in order to warm it up. A sauna heater without good sauna stones is just a space heater that can be extremely dangerous. You'll need various sizes of stones between 2 and 5 inches. Make sure to stack your stones properly as well. Between the coils are the smaller ones, and on top of them are the larger ones. In our experience, stacking coils snugly is not the best method in order to protect them from damage, but loosely enough that air can flow easily Overheating occurs when the stones are stacked too tightly. This causes the unit to shut off before the stones are heated sufficiently. 3) No, you do need to wire it yourself, or have it done by someone else. Do it yourself and make sure you get the proper "fork" connectors (5 bucks from a hardware store) and thick enough wire to handle the draw of 110 volts and 18 volts. There is a 2 amp draw. 3) The instructions included in the package were terrible, which is why the rating is a 4 instead of 5. Due to the fact that they are generic for this company's heaters, all of which are 220v, they are essentially useless. Here are a few things you need to know if you want to install a "- " The installation video for this model is available on the company's website. Please note If any gunk left over from the manufacturing process remains in the heater after its first use, run it for a few minutes without any stones. Please note The distance between the wall and front cover of the sauna is measured using the numbers on that panel. Please note It's not a good idea to try to wire it yourself if you are not experienced. Please note If you're wiring or plugging into a 20 amp circuit breaker, make sure it has enough power. This heater draws 18 watts of electricity when it is in use. A 2 amp circuit Breakers only rated for 15 amps are not suited for the heater, and this heater would trip a 15 amp circuit Please note Connect it to a plug and plug it into a GFCI outlet if you plan to connect it to a plug. There is no need to worry about this because the power this heater uses is large and you'll be much happier not having to worry about something going wrong and burning down your sauna. Aside from these points, it is always essential to conduct research before you speak out. After hours of researching sauna design, build, and use, I finally decided to take the plunge. Your chances of success will increase (at this as well as anything else) if you have more knowledge. However, we hope these tips will provide you with some answers to some of your initial questions.
(Like most of you, I wanted a 110V heater due to wiring limitations). It seemed like a long shot, but you have to run it for several hours to get it up to a maximum of 140 degrees, and combined with its 1 hour shut off time, there is virtually no chance that this will ever reach the recommended temperature of 170 degrees. A range of 180 degrees is available. Wastage of energy and time. I am disappointed.
We would like to know how much EMF and VOC emissions are produced. Heaters like this are typically used in saunas that are 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 6 feet. After being turned on for 45 minutes, the temperature reached 110 degrees. It will take another 15 minutes to reach We have a thermometer that only goes to 125 degrees, so I'm not sure if there was any increase in temperature in there. A complaint is all there As far as we know, there are no VOCs or EMFs emitted. There have been no tests performed on this unit. You should be in the sauna if you want to get better health overall. If you could tell us, that would be great. It's awesome that it plugs into a 110 volt.
After three hours of my time and $15 for a heavy gauge wire whip, this poor heater that does not heat an 80 cubic foot area above 85 degrees is getting returned after wasting three hours of my time and $15 on a heater that does not work. It will take an additional three hours to run a new 220 line and to buy a heater from a different vendor.
The outer jacket I had on had been (mildly, did not hurt much) electrocuted by touching it. There is no problem with the wiring, but is this meant to be a dry sauna or a wet sauna? In my opinion, it would make sense to put the rocks in the top. They are supposed to be wet, so I would go ahead and put them in there. In any event, you will see that there isn't much space between the electrical connections and where the rocks are placed. A metal plate separates them, but it has open seams along its edge. Other gripes are that the timer stopped working after a couple of While it will be a challenging experience, I will consider working around those dangers since it is a pretty cool thing to do.
The plug did not work with 120 volts. The electrician says the appliance might be able to handle 220. It is in Chinese, but does not appear to be accurately translated (especially the c clip jumpers that presumably should remain The heater did not work either way after I had the guy wire it both ways). You must pay return shipping if you return an item to the seller. Until the 21st of May 2020, Amazon phones will not be answered. It is not a product I would recommend to others.
I purchased a new heater to replace this one and it is okay. I wouldn't buy it again. The item arrived slightly damaged, but the seller provided a discount (they wouldn't take the item In my opinion, it's simply underpowered based on the cubic feet of my outdoor sauna, and it's sized based on its stated capacity. This was my fatal flaw, since I had taken advantage of the lower voltage requirement. There is no doubt that it works and heats up I know how hot it should be, but it doesn't get that hot. In fact, I discovered that after I paid an electrician to install it ($1700, mind you), it was unable to sustain the load/loss experienced during an installation outside. There is nothing I like better than my 100 cubic foot outside sauna. A rigid foam insulation combined with reflective bubble insulation, tuck taped, and an insulated door were used. The heater could not catch up to the starting temperature in order to even get my sauna to a desirable temperature in even two hours. So I had to remove the heater and replace it with one that can handle 200*F. Considering the 300 cu feet of space, another $1700 was needed for an electrician to install all the new wires and breakers. Buy a more powerful heater that will result in better results, in order to save yourself the time and hassle of doing it yourself.
