Selected User Reviews For Bjerg Instruments Sauna Thermometer and Hygrometer 2 in 1 Indoor Humidity Temperature Measurement Sauna Room
Upon checking the thermometer, it stopped at 130 degrees and the sauna was confirmed to be at 186 degrees. As well as the temperature, the humidity was very high. A few times I tried to calibrate, but without success. I'll be back as soon as possible. The look was good, but the performance was disappointing.
A friend gave me this thermometer for an indoor sauna I built. The thermometer hand doesn't seem to go above 100F while the sauna runs There is a significant difference in temperature even at room temperature where the thermometer reads +8F. I liked the looks of the unit but was disappointed by the function.
While the thermometer read 130 degrees, it was definitely hotter than that in our sauna. Although the aesthetic was good, it was unfortunate that we had to remove it.
The accuracy and consistency of its measurements were impressive when I compared it to other similar devices from other brands. Thus far, I have been very satisfied with the product.
I just received it today and love it. It's accurate, looks great, and I'm thrilled with it. It is an extra bonus to have the humidity sensor, as it helps me remember when the room gets too dry to throw water on the rocks. (Unless you want to do something digital) I cannot imagine you would want to spend more money.
I have had others that I didn't trust, such as one that had a needle that dragged on the surface of the dial so that its accuracy was only determined when the user could not read the temperature accurately, no matter how many calibrations it received. Right out of the box, my Bjerg worked perfectly, and I tested its accuracy against my ThermoWorks digital BBQ thermometer, and it was accurate all the way up to 100 degrees Celsius.
Despite the fact that it was able to reach 110 degrees, it didn't go any higher. appears to be very cheaply made as well.
There will not be a difference in temperature between these two. I returned the first consumer device I ordered since it exceeded 140°, so I exchanged it. Exactly the same thing happened to the second. Take a look at the image.
