They aren't four-inch letters at all. They measure approximately 2 1/2" in length.

What is the height of the letters? Letter sizes are regulated by the city. ?

WARNING is written in 2" letters, while NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY is written in 1 5/8" letters. Ours is used in a private residence.

Despite its diminutive size. Metal fabrication is excellent. On the coast, I went 40 miles per hour without causing any damage. I can't say the same for the plastic one before it.
