Take a break and order a roll of Loctite GO2 Self-Adhesive Wrapping silicone with clear plastic before fusing it. The seam should be surrounded by a couple of strips. There is no doubt that the factory seal is horrible. This is something that can be fixed easily, but not something that's impossible.
Regardless of how you feel about needing to fix a brand new product, I feel some extra effort is needed for a product like this since there aren't many options available. I was able to light up my 18x36 pool nicely with 2 lights. The device came with a factory defect that had to be fixed before use, so it received a one-star rating.
It has been several days since I received the lights, and I am now reviewing them. Throughout my search for wireless lights for my swimming pool, I came across different options. If you do not have electricity running to your pool, the Smart Lite LED underwater pool light is exactly what you need. I like how bright they are and how much fun swimming at night can be. A remote is included with the light, which allows the user to adjust the light's colors and modes. Several accessories are included in the package, such as 4 screws to hang the light to your steps, and a return fitting so you can hang the light to your return valve if you wish, as well as The hangers that came with my order allowed me to put lights on my pool. In total, my swimming pool measures 33 feet across, 4 feet deep, and holds 26,000 gallons of water. I am very pleased with the way my pool is illuminated by the 2 lights. The only thing I do is to turn them on at night for a few hours and let them charge. The lights are bright and remain charged for about eight hours. Consider getting some Loctite clear silicone waterproof sealant and putting a bead around the perimeter to ensure that your light is waterproof. In case something should happen, I did this. Reviewers who mentioned water getting into the light housing suggested it in some reviews. The first phase of the project has been successful. I have only one complaint about the lights you have to be within a couple of feet of it to turn it on with the remote control. Additionally, the bottom of the light is equipped with a power button. Despite the low price, I gave these lights five stars and would definitely buy them again if the need arose.
During that time, it was charged for six hours. A connection was made between my pool return and the hanger. Before submerging, I lit it up, and I realized that it was set to the lower end of the brightness range. Now that my 12x24 oval pool is glowing after being turned up to full blast, everyone in the family is pleased. Among the five colors of light, I believe that white and blue are the nearest and illuminate me best. A thin plastic hanger and a light unit are filled with air on the pool hanger. It floats upwards at the bottom of the plastic hanger between the path of my return jet and the point furthest from the surface. You're going to snap the return hanger if you make me feel all that movement and torque. A pair of rubber coated 6 oz weights and some fishing line from the hardware store fixed the issue. A quick note It takes a full six hours to charge the device initially. In the morning, I turned it on at 940 am I brought it to the house at 7am to charge it at 15pm. There was still a full blue light coming from the model A 30am start. Excellent battery life straight out of the box! I can use the device for 10+ hours!.
We've been looking for something like this for a long time. The other two we just hang from the ladder with the hangers. There is a concave back to the light, so the other two are simply suction-attached to the vinyl side. It's a great day for me.
I would recommend it for the price. That is, at least, what has happened so far!.
Lights are pretty bright and have many colors to choose from. As a result of other reviews, I have sealed the seam before first using the product with silicone caulk. I just wanted to add This mounting bracket has very thin mounting brackets and when mounted on the water return it sets the retainer far enough away from the control mechanism so that the "eye" that determines the flow direction is not firmly seated. There's sufficient pressure when the pump is running to hold it against the retainer - so this is fine. You may be able to put it where you want it, but I'm not certain it would stay there if you only run the pump part of the time. While the light is underwater, it is not controlled by the remote. In order to turn the light on and off or change settings using the remote, you must remove it from the bracket and take it out of the water. There is no point in having a remote if you can't use it. The positive side of the story Upon full charge, the light will stay on for 12+ hours. The wireless charging station is easy to use and easy to set up. My purchase of the light is a good investment since it meets my needs. The water of the pool is illuminated at night to make swimming more enjoyable.
A pool light I have ever had is the best. The kinds I have tried are all different. In response to the advice of another customer, I secured the seam before use with silicone tape. This review took a long time to write because I wanted to see how it worked and if it leaks. The good thing about rechargeable batteries is that they are always ready to go. You can use it for a couple of hours at night and it will last for days. In my case, I used silicone adhesive to attach some magnets to the back of the mount (not the lamp). My device is now fully charged, and I can put it back into the bracket and move it anywhere in to the pool that I like. A second one might be a good idea.
We put a bead of sealer around the light (just in case) and have not had any issues. It lights up my 15x42ft Intex above ground pool just fine. The wall of the pool is right up against it. With the magnet we installed on the holders for pool steps, they stay right where you put them. We love the way the remote works & the button on the back of the light is convenient when it's in the pool so we don't contaminate the remote with water. It is fast and I am happy with how it turned out after I figured how much I spent on 6 of the hockey puck lights plus batteries and magnets a year ago and all but 2 did not work, this was a more wise purchase. Generally speaking, it has a lot of brightness, is colorful, kids and adults love it, and is easy to charge and its battery life is astounding!.
