Isn't it true that you'd still require Chlorine?

To keep the sanitizer level up, I use Jump Start a Chlorine Shock.

Why is there no mention of Chloride in the startup package?

You'll need to shock the water in your hot tub before using it. I'm not sure why it's not included, but it's available at any local pool and spa store for a reasonable price.

Although this is a good product, it does not come with test strips

The bug scrub is fantastic, and it arrived as described. All I wish is that this kit came with test strips. I had to go out and buy them on my own. That is, in my opinion, a significant missed opportunity.

He explained each product to me, and I am now able to use my jacuzzi, which I had spent hundreds of dollars on. Test strips are required. If it came with some test strips, that would be ideal. Everything I needed to keep my hot tub in working order was included.

The contents were all over the place. As the chemicals are mixed from multiple containers, they are ineffective. Try cleaning up a zillion tiny pebbles that have strewn across your carpet. It was much worse than this when I took the picture because I was already cleaning it up when I decided to take a picture.
