Excellent value for money! Great product that does exactly what it says on the tin! I bought it for a 10 ft round, 1200 gallon above ground pool because the measurements and dosage are closer from a Spa product than most pool chemicals, which are geared for really big pools, and it's less expensive!.
It didn't work out very well. My ph test strips kept telling me that I had a low ph level. I used two bottles of this before switching to another brand, and my ph immediately rose. It does not work, in my opinion.
When the ph is low, we have an inflatable hot tub, which is ideal for making adjustments.
Even though I was putting in twice the recommended amount twice a week, I had a difficult time raising the pH with a different brand. I decided to branch out and try a new brand, and I'm glad I did. I'm only using the recommended amount once a week now, and I've never had a problem with low pH or alkalinity. Also, a fantastic price!.
I believe it is causing a build-up of residue in the hot tub's bottom. I'm still finding tiny white specs in my hand, so I'm going back to liquid ph up.
The product is exactly what I expected, but the delivery driver gave it to a 5-year-old kid in the neighborhood, thus the one star!.
The item arrived in perfect condition, with white powder/granules in the mailbox from Amazon. As I opened the box, powder/granules poured out of the corners. When the box was opened, the container's lid was completely off, and nearly half of the contents were spilled out. This appears to be a common occurrence, according to what I've read. The canister's lid is in perfect working order. Is there evidence of deliberate tampering with the product's packaging? It's a real drag.
