We have been using granule calcium boosters in our hot tubs for years. They work well, but come in larger tubs, can be messy when adding, and you can't easily measure without a scoop. This is a great product. My first attempt was successful, so I decided to try it again. My main concern with Calcium Boosters granules was that they tend to dissolve when eating them. Using a liquid removes all of that concern. Now, I will say that I wish it were less expensive. I live where the water is remarkably soft, and the calcium reading in my spa is zero. The ingredients in this product are safe for use in 500 gallon hot tubs, and following the directions, I filled nearly half of the bottle with it. After that I ran the jets in my spa for 1 hour before shutting it down. After testing it the next day, I found that the water was perfect! The product did the job well, so I had no choice but to be overjoyed. That would be a great thing to say about all the products I buy. I have used Leisure time products in my swim spa for more than five years now. There is a lot of small print on the bottles that is hard to read for my old eyes, and it would be nice if they identified the amount per gallon in a larger print. I also like how easy the chemicals are to work with, how they have no chemical odor and how well they work I also like the plastic bottles because they can be used to store It is enough to rinse them off really well, let them sit outside to dry, then store them safely.

I cleaned my 500-gallon tub and filled it with water. As a result of the restart, my test strip was reading only 25 ppm, so I bought this calcium-up bottle. Throughout my lifetime, I have used all leisure time products in my tub without a problem. As it turns out, I ended up using the entire bottle in three days and my calcium never exceeded What the heck? I should have been able to put my tub over the chards at 224 ppm if I had used the whole 32 oz bottle all at once, but it never got above 50 ppm. Was there a reason why it didn't There is no way for me to know! The next product I'll try is another one. Spending a few dollars for nothing.
