Questions & Answers

Additionally, I am concerned about the other 27% of ingredients because my pool is above ground and a lot of these substances end up all over my lawn, etc. ?

A quality shock treatment like this is not easy to find in the I don't know what the specific ingredients of the remaining 27% are, but in most cases it's stabilizers, algecides, water conditioners, or another kind of filler. In the past I have back washed on my lawn and never experienced While these chemicals are toxic at high concentrations, they are not harmful to people, pets, or the environment when used properly and diluted into a safe quantity of water. I would ask the question of people before my lawn, if I were you. This is a safe chemical that can be used on a lawn in either case.

Is the manufacturer able to respond to what is in the 27% "other ingredients"?

While I haven't used this on my pool yet, I can tell you that it's the best product I've ever used for pool shock. I've nuked my pool in the past and waited 48 hours and my three little kids never had any problems.

Liner made out of vinyl?

Due to the fact that I only have an in-ground pool, I do not know, but it works very well

I have a salt water pool and this product is great
5/5

As soon as spring arrives, I prepare the pool by placing socks on it. My choice is this one because it is the best and most affordable shock I could find. There is never a problem with the pool being dirty. My shock pump is used after heavy rain or when the pool has been used after the clorinator has been turned on.

It is lined with bleached paper
3/5

The liner on my vinyl jacket was bleached. As a first-time user of granules, I have some questions. In an attempt to dissolve, we brushed them around, but that did not work. It should be clearly warned that this stuff should not be used with liners, I never would say this could be directly put in a For fear of causing further damage, I dissolve it in a bucket first, but I use a different brand that dissolves faster now. As a rule, I use bleach to shock my pool, but these days bleach is hard to come by.

Worked great, I use only this shock
5/5

Since I started using this product two years ago, I have used it constantly. There are a lot of so-called problems I don't understand The purpose of reviews is to provide information on something. The following is a new-to-me introduction Owner of a swimming pool, I admit that it took me some time to figure out all the chemical interactions present in my pool and which was the right combination. While I apologize in advance if any of this is already well known, I thought I'd share this here in case others are new to the topic as well. Essentially, this product is calcium hypochlorite. It is one of the few products that do not contain fluoride. Sodium chloride shocks that have been stabilized. Cyanuric acid (stabilizer) is usually a component of other chlorine-based shocks. In addition, it has one of the highest concentrations of chlorine available (more chlorine, fewer There are several reasons why you would choose a non-profit organization What happens when chlorine shock is stabilized? An auto feeder and a tri-rail system are the feeders I use To chlorinate my body on a daily basis, I use chlor pucks. Stabilizer is already present in these thus I do not wish to add extra stabilizing material when I shock them. Cyanuric acid (CYA) levels would rise too rapidly if I did that, which would cause me to drain and refill my pool more frequently. In addition, there are the following items to note If shocking is used, but especially when no shocks are used A shock that has been stabilized Whenever I wake up at night, I am shocked. In order to reduce chlorine levels, do the following During the summer, algae grows in It's a better idea to let the shock work on the algae than on.

Obtaining Chlorine and Calcium at a good price is a great idea
5/5

This chlorine source doesn't contain a stabilizer and has calcium added to it. Chlorine is a safe, effective, and cheap way to add to a swimming pool. The only objection is that it has to be mixed in a bucket first, before it can be added to the.

The product works great
5/5

We found that shocking the pool after heavy rains or once a week in the end (hotter) months never causes a nasty water or algae issue. The product is always working fine.

The shock did not do anything and did not work at all
3/5

I read a lot of good reviews on this shock. I did NOTHING with it. I went to the I still haven't a clue. All filler must be used. A beautiful picture. I am wasting my money. I blew my money, so don't do the same thing.
