The answer is yes, in my opinion. An old 380 about 2001 belongs to me. It would be best to check with Polaris
It was about 6 years ago that I did this rebuild, so I don't remember exact details. It's obvious all the parts I needed were in the kit, and some more I was able to recycle. We saved much more than we would have if we had bought
own a Polaris 360 or 380, it probably looked just like this when This kit will fit both the 360 and 380 since the parts are the same. My top case color is an opaque grayish light blue now, 5 years after purchase. Because I use my cleaner 3 hours daily and my pool runs all year round, the top case color changed completely. As a result, you basically need to recreate the whole thing on the main frame with the serial number sticker attached. Make sure you read the instructions carefully to ensure that the process is simple. Before I was familiar with the internal layout since I have replaced minor internal parts before. The kit is incredible I HIGHLY recommend it For less than $300, I feel like I just bought a new Polaris.

My Polaris was as good as a brand new one after rebuilding it with this thing. This kit contains all the characteristics of a new Polaris 380 except for the frame piece (includes serial number at frame) and long hose that comes with a new Polaris for less than half the price. Installation went smoothly and it took me less than an hour to do. Despite not being shown in the photo, a few parts will be needed such as the distribution parts and the access point for the tail hose on the body. These parts were, after all, crucial parts of the system. It would have been nice if the extras were included. However, I purchased the extras thinking they weren't, and now I have an extra set. My new Polaris now works like a brand new Polaris, for less than half the price of a completely There is another same item listed with same number that is Prime and much less expensive, and reviews show that as well, but after ordering and looking at others reviews, it appears everything is included, but I wish I had ordered that other one.
With a few hours of work and some time, I was able to get a new pool cleaner for less than half the price. My search for the lowest price on a new Polaris 380 pool cleaner on Amazon and in all of my local pool supply stores came up with a lot After purchasing the Polaris 380 kit, it arrived very fast and it took about 2 hours to rebuild it completely over the next weekend (with drinks). There is nothing missing but the main frame of the cleaner (it still has the serial number on it) which is still good (nothing to wear away on the main frame), but there is one new backup valve and one new float to go along with it. Everything, not just some things. Every single moving part inside and out except the main chassis is included in the sweeper hose, upper and lower covers, and every bearing. The finished Polaris 380 pool cleaner looks and runs just like a new one. It was a great experience that I would do again.
Although the instructions could be a little better, I was able to put it together in about an hour. It took us less than a day to complete the rebuild for our 380 and we now operate the machine like brand new at less than half the cost.
I almost purchased a number of separate parts before discovering I got a great deal with this.
Those who have commented before me said that this includes everything except the It was possible for me to rebuild mine based on the exploded view in the instructions. However, the new tail is not very flexible and ends up curling in front of the unit, causing some issues this problem will be resolved when the water gets warmer in the spring. The old tail will be returned if the tail doesn't fit. The other aspects of the system seem to be working effectively.
Replaced it two years ago, but I should have done so earlier. Priced a new appliance, I was shocked to find out how much it would cost! Until I saw the rebuild kit, I didn't know it existed I stumbled across it by chance. All parts, except an internal frame, are included in the $33 price, which is less than 33% of the price of a new unit. It takes no more than two hours to complete this rebuild even if you have basic mechanical skills You will save $400 by committing 3 hours of your time!.
Kits like this one are awesome! As the other reviews state, you get a brand new Polaris for only 1/3 of the price of a brand new vehicle. Honestly, it took me about 45 minutes to remove and replace the part but I was familiar with the inner workings, as I had previously replaced other parts. Also, the instructions were straightforward.
There is NO WAY for you to go wrong with this kit, as it includes EVERYTHING to refresh your Polaris and it costs less than half of what a replacement would cost. Only the frame (which has the model and serial number, which would explain their decision not to include it), leader hose and floats, and twist-in wall fittings are not included. In any other case, you get every bit of it. Regardless of whether or not you'll need the hose, floats, and fitting, which would cost a few hundred bucks, you're still WAY better off than investing in something brand-new. There's even a backrest if you want it A valve that allows the leader hose to rise. As you're basically building your own Polaris, a side benefit is that once you're done, you'll understand EXACTLY how all of that stuff works, which you could use for troubleshooting in the future. There is no need for anything more than a Phillips screwdriver, a flat screwdriver (to pry off the clips holding the wheels and gears on the axles) and a pair of small needle-nose As long as you are comfortable using those tools, this should not be a problem. Instructions are basic and a diagram of the parts is included. If you are disassembling the old unit, lay out the old parts in the order in which they were disassembled, so that order will apply to complaint is that the tail hose is very stiff and mine was bent from being packaged, so it kept getting caught in the wheels of the cleaner. If you used a hair dryer or soaked it in hot water, you may be able to soften it and straighten it out, but I just put on my old tail again to save time.
According to the original, this is exactly how it was expressed. The frame inside is missing from it, but the rest of the item is 100% complete. A Polaris 380 that I owned for about 15 years was still in great shape. The time had come to get Seeing these rebuild kits on the market, I decided to give them a shot. This is certainly a good thing for me to have done. Now I'm running it like it did when I bought it the day after I bought it for 25% of the cost of a new one. Even though the instructions could be a little more detailed, if you pay attention to the directions, drawings, and how the pieces work together, you should have no issues. I am extremely satisfied, and I would advise anyone considering buying a new Polaris, to rebuild it first.
