It's really fun to see so many references to Firefly. On the basis of those alone, you might consider buying this one
There is a great deal of misinformation here. The manual never says to keep your pool/patio 25 feet away from human activity, it says to keep it 25 feet away This is so that the coverage area is maximized. place the unit in your backyard right next to your house, it would cover 25 feet in front, but if you were to put it 25 feet away, it would cover 50 feet in diameter (25 feet in front of your house and 25 feet back). While the chemical attractant is not required to kill mosquitoes, it may improve your chances of killing them (it allegedly contains chemicals that attract certain mosquitoes and biting flies), as not all mosquitoes are attracted to only UV light.

If you are dealing with hornets, wasps, yellow jackets, please remember that they are inactive in the early morning hours, as well as when it is cold. I advise you not to purchase this product. The rating has been lowered to one star from five. It took many years for my bulb to fail, and I decided to get a new one.
