Obviously, this product does not pose any danger to the Bradford Pear trees and other trees in my hard and I use it on the cut section of suckers (sprouts coming out of the base of the tree or out of the roots) that I remove from my hard. My Olive Trees have done well with what you want to do with it, but I can't guarantee that yours will as well, but what you want to do with it is what I do on mine.
For tree stump sprouts, this product is the best. We have volunteer sprouts all over our yard, and this product is wonderful at keeping them contained. It is my third time using the On sprouts that grow from the base of living trees is another of my favorites. I recommend that you buy

The stuff you're trying to buy really The Crape Myrtle I have taken over my floor bed has grown. All you have to do is follow the instructions.
This is a much larger container than I expected. I also found the application to be different than what I had For a container of this size, the price was somewhat high.
