Although I also read the same reviews, I was able to put it up in around two hours. As long as you have any fair sense at all, this is a breeze! Even though some driveways do not go all the way to the street, there will always be people like this. It is best not to attempt simple DIY projects by people like that. Based on a 1-10 scale There are 10 levels of difficulty, with 10 being the hardest. I would rate this as a 3 1/2 out of 5.

As a result of "Shed" My opinion is that "Box" is a great deal. In order to store the stump grinder, field trimmer, and chainsaw I only use out on my 11 acre wooded property, I needed to build a storage shed. It would have been a waste of money for a plastic shed, and it would have also been impossible to afford a well built portable building. ShelterLogic provided me with this shed. I found the setup to be very simple. While I read some reviews about the foundation falling apart when being constructed, keep in mind that people who have no mechanical abilities are trying to construct this shed. There is no such thing as common sense. This is the type of person who does not know how to use crescent wrenches or vice grips. In case you are one of those people, use some duct tape on the joints where the poles connect. However, for everyone else who has a fair degree of mechanical ability, keep at it.
It took me about 3 hours to assemble. In any case, I was all by myself out in the forest and had a cooler full of liquids in order to hydrate myself. When I took my time, I took lots of breaks to hydrate, and I found that if you can read and understand pictures, putting this thing together is a snap. I've had the shed up for a week ninety percent of that time it has rained and stormed. As I drove out to my property, I checked the shed, and it looks Strong winds didn't even seem to bother it, as there were no leaks. As a floor, you might want to lay down some pavers. Lowe's sold me 32 12"x12" pavers at a cost of $1 each. The number of each is 58. My only step was to take them off my truck and toss them on the ground inside my shed without even leveling them. As long as the function is there, I do not care about leveling. This is a cheap, weather-proof, and durable umbrella. Are there any other things you need?.
As soon as I saw this unit, I noticed that it was missing any hardware to hold the pieces together, except for four screws on Although it took two people to put together (even with the help of a third person), it is extremely difficult to move since it falls apart when you jiggle The cover and straps were tightened, and I had hoped that the cover would hold together better when it was covered Not at all. Despite the cover's ability to handle tension, it's not able to hold this together It was tearing the cover by tying the ratchets tight, but it was still not enough to prevent it from coming apart. A few cable ties and nuts were installed to connect the unit with the augers but failed to It had to be an exceptionally stiff breeze the day the cable passed through the nut and the whole thing tipped. By tying the unit to the augers with baling string, I fixed it. There was probably more wind, but I don't know what happened. As the poles that slide through the bottom of the cover disconnected, the feet where the ratchets attach were able to rotate, releasing the tension, and I watched as everything collapsed, leaving only the poles attached to the augers and the top of the cover. This should be added to the planned obsolescence list - It is well known that the covers on Shelter Logic's products wear out relatively quickly, so instead of designing a better product Shelter Logic offers a repair or replacement program that lasts between 50 and You can buy a new cover for 70% of the price of a new unit There is no value in this unit for what it is worth. It is best to get one that comes with the hardware so if you look at it funny, it won't fall apart. The photo is of what happens when the wind blows. If the ratchet straps pop off, then the bottom half of the stand comes apart since nothing is holding it together.
As far as the one that comes with it is concerned, it is not the thickest and you will likely only have it for I'm using my metal pipes instead of plastic ones, and your metal pipes are super strong. My first one is still going strong after seven years but I'm adding a tarp almost every year (cheaper It has survived terrible winter storms as well as rain storms and winds as high as 50 mph. Once you have all the bars together but not secured or staked it, wrap a rope around it. Otherwise it will be a lot more difficult to put it together. (eye roll) Otherwise it's a lot easier then the first time I did it. It took me a long time to figure it out the first time. Rather than having someone else do it for me, I went alone. If you don't have anyone to hold things together while you stabilize and stake it down, have someone at least nearby. It is important to follow this tip. Take a look at the reviews, as there is a lot of good advice there for everyone, and then celebrate with a large glass of wine (or beer) at the end! I wish you the best of.
