Questions & Answers
The Outland Living Soft Cover is known for its weather resistance. Rain will eventually seep through the cover because it is not waterproof. Furthermore, despite being a tight fit, due to the weight of the water build-up, It will continue to pool in the middle as the temperature rises. Please contact us if you have any additional questions.
I have a wind guard on mine, so the cover is about 6 inches above the rocks, so it's not an issue for me, but in your situation, I wouldn't put the glass top back on until everything has cooled down for at least 15 minutes.
The covet does a good job of keeping dew out, but a water titer type ofor cover is recommended. I also bought the glass cover. But I keep mine dry by covering it with a tarp or an overhang.

I bought two of the lids, which are quite heavy. If you bought the fire pit with it, the slide-in storage rack was simple to set up. To install the storage rack on the first fire pit we bought, we had to disassemble it (remove the top glass, rocks, and flip the pit over). It wasn't nearly as bad as I had anticipated. If you're putting the lid directly on the fire pit, the rocks must be evenly distributed for it to fit properly. As a result, some of the rocks had to be removed. The number of rocks doesn't matter if you have a wind shield (as shown in the picture on the left). It has a very appealing appearance. I'd suggest it.
Love it! This fire table is one of my favorites. I put it together entirely on my own. It was very simple to put together and looks fantastic on my covered patio. The glass rocks are lovely and give the impression of ice on fire; I was hoping for colored rocks, but I'm keeping the clear ones that came with it because of the ice-on-fire effect. Illusion of fire The glass cover was also purchased by me. When the windscreen is back in stock, I'll order it.
but. I ordered the Outland fire pit and it is fantastic. I also placed an order for the lid insert. It's a perfect fit for me, and I'm in love with it. One star deducted because it would have been nice to receive the entire set rather than having to order pieces separately.
The only thing I don't like about it is that the mounting instructions for the brackets inside state that you should flip over the firepit (the one with the glass top) when it's just as easy to lay on your back and install them. The problem is that the directions aren't visually set up in such a way. Aside from that, it's a fantastic top that keeps the cover from sinking into the pit.
This is a great addition to the fire table, which is a great addition to our patio. Unfortunately, I discovered that the glass lid insert is extremely fragile, and the original insert I had shattered into numerous pieces (due to my negligence). When the lid insert isn't on the table, I'll make sure it's secure. The quality of the goods is excellent, and the price is well justified.
The glass lid should, without a doubt, be included with the original fire pit assembly, in our opinion. Selling it as an "accessory" is simply taking advantage of the customer. To begin with, the fire pit table assembly had a hefty price tag of over $500. br>Neither a cover nor a glass lid are included.
It took a long time. It's a perfect match for the fire table. It took a long time for it to become available, and it isn't cheap. However, I believe this lid would be beneficial to anyone who owns a fire table. The extra space provided by the table for food, drinks, and other items is well worth it. It should also provide weather protection for the gas outlet lines.
When the box was opened, one side of the metal trimming had a dent and minor scratches. I'm not sure if it happened during transit or before because the box was well-packaged. The only reason I won't return it is because I don't want to wait for a new one to arrive. For the holidays, I want to make use of my fire table. However, it is attractive in general and will complement the fire table and wind guard nicely.
