They're the push-in and-lock style, and they're very easy to put together and take apart. I really like this set.
It all depends on how high up you are and how strong the breeze is. It is unquestionably a fine mist, and the best value for money can be found here.
A misting effect can be achieved with a normal tap water pressure of around 40 PSI.
The set only includes the hose and mister heads, as well as water connections; if you want it to turn on based on time or temperature, you'll need to purchase the controller separately.

This was incredibly simple to set up and performs flawlessly. I connected it to a programmable timer, and it mists my chickens during the hottest part of the day. My only complaint is that the hose connector lacks a rubber gasket and thus leaks. To correct the problem, I removed the gasket from a sprayer I had.
This item was purchased to keep my quail cool during the scorching summer sun of the Mojave Desert. I had no idea how to put it together based on the instructions, but a quick YouTube video made it simple. My hose connector to the misting system had a flaw that caused it to leak horribly. To repair it, I needed to buy an o ring. This system produces a lot of mist, and my birds appear to be happier and cooler as a result of it.
The Misters system is delivered disassembled, allowing you to customize it to your liking. After deciding how far apart I wanted each mister, it was simple to put together. I chose a distance of 2 feet, which is closer than necessary. I would suggest a distance of 36" between mister heads. Even though the water comes out in a fine mist, we get very wet at 2 feet apart, and we have to turn the system off and on more frequently to avoid drowning (humorous exaggeration!). The individual parts are all of high quality. This is a product I would buy again in a heartbeat.
br>I was so pleased with it that I ordered a second one the same day I set up the first one. br>br>While I'm at work, I have misters installed across my artificial turf to keep it cool for the dogs. We recently experienced a few days with temperatures reaching 106 degrees, which made a noticeable difference in the lawn area and patio where the dogs (and people) congregate.
In fact, it has helped save their lives. It's extremely simple to set up and install; if I can do it, so can you.
I don't build things very often, so this was a bit of a stretch for me, but it was simple and I felt great when I was done! An aside: When connecting the tubing to the hose connector, you must first unscrew the piece, then replace it! It took a minute for me to figure out what was going on.
I like how the jets add just the right amount of spray without getting too wet. br>This system is not ready to use. It's up to you to make it happen. Use the cutting tool that they provide with caution. It's very easy to cut your finger. Aside from that, it's an excellent product.
It's used to keep the dust down in the stalls and to keep the horses cool. It's a hit with them, and it's a hit with us, too. It's simple to put together and put in place.
