I bought this a couple of months ago and the heads started plugging. It took a couple hours soaking the heads in vinegar, and the rubber grommets were removed, and the heads are now working perfectly.

The hotel was very well worth the money paid. The swamp cooler I was abandoning for cooling my house already had 1/4" line installed, so I just needed to add a Tee' to the line. Just remove the hose where you want the nozzle, insert the tee, push until secure. Getting everything up and running took just a couple of I liked how the nozzles produced a light mist that cooled down my porch very quickly, without adding too much Some water did bead off the fan, but I had the beads very close together, so they were very spread out. As it turns out, I just lowered the water pressure and that seemed to solve the issue, so I don't think it was that big of a deal.

The original intention was to install this as a patio misting system, wanted to try one for cheap and with no pump, just connected to a It is a very powerful system that can be made for a tenth of the cost of a professional diy system. As soon as you turn off the water after using it, the nozzles drip for a moment or two. But maybe the better systems do it too. For anyone else interested, if you go to Amazon and order a 1/4 hose to water spigot attachment, be sure you order the copper one and avoid any of the cheap plastic ones. There is a serious leakage in them.

The following updates were made on July 10th I gave them 4 stars instead of 3 stars after they responded to my review, which I did not expect. The fact that they care and offered partial refund is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 3 stars. I like it It's easy to put the tube on and off the nozzle with the 1-4" tube. Not It is only for 60-year-olds The brass misters work 70 percent of the time as intended. Taking turns squirting each stream of water or not working is the best thing. Because I use a filter for my water, sediments in the water cannot be blamed for causing this obstruction.

There is no possibility for changing the mister nozzle with these fittings because the plastic threads are too soft and the steel threads fail when the original brass nozzle is removed This means that the new nozzle does not thread in and blows out when the system is turned on. As far as this particular product is concerned, this is my final purchase.

A mister set is a waste of money. With these and the inexpensive poly line sold at Home Depot, you can make a kit that costs the same There is a nice misting action, they do not clog, and they spray more area than I expected (I need only one nozzle per 10 foot side of my patio cover).

I found these to be easy to install and they work well. They are cleansed by soaking in vinegar every couple of weeks to keep them clean and functioning correctly.
