The misting hose is to be added to the feed line or to be added to the actual misting system? Specifically, why isn't it available with the misting units when the misting hose add-on is available?

It is just the tubing to which you can add any slip-lock connectors of your choice (straight, "t", corner, etc.). The connectors have mist nozzles embedded inside them. A durable and flexible system that is easy to modify

While I can't offer any assistance here, I suggest that you use a 90-degree elbow with the bend you describe. Assuming you tried to bend it, it would surely kink, and it is quite possible you would have to provide some heat as well. We would prefer an elbow that is at a 90-degree angle

It is good tubing, though it is a bit expensive

The tubing is what it is. was challenging to maneuver around tight corners without kinking in it because it tended to be rigid. However, it will probably last for a long time. I would say it is a bit on the pricey side compared to bulk tubing available.

Three eights of an inch is odd

Orbit slip lok brass fittings are compatible with this product. Three-eighths of an inch is the OD. It's an Arizona Mist 10127L 3/8-inch nozzle A misting slip hose with a lok coupling.

Erroneous size on the label (mislabeled product)

It is important to handle this item with care. Originally purchased in April, this item is not in stock anymore. As the system was already misting, I was trying to connect the new tubing to it. It was impossible to fit to brass fittings with 3/8" bores. In addition, it was too tight for me, and I could not figure out There was a 3/8" label on the package. The OD measured 10 mm, a metric size. I measured the OD at 3/8" and it is larger than that. The actual length was greater than 3/8".
