Then people will hammer this post in a couple of feet (like on animal farms where they would use borbwire to secure the posts). If you are constructing a fence, dig a 20" diameter hole, then dig an additional 2 feet deep and fill it with quick-set concrete Using dry cement to attach a roadside sign to a driveway. Here are some pointers I hope are helpful
No, the end of this post does not point to a particular place. A winged flange as well as a barb wire fence post's bottom would have been a nice feature to include in this product. Barb wire fence posts hold in loose soil and allow for easier pile driving. For the purpose of holding my whole house water filter, I purchased this post. As soon as it goes into the ground, it is an excellent product. You have a wonderful journey ahead of you.
Place the wide side up against the sign, and make sure not to overtighten.
There were a few small chips from shipping in mine, but otherwise they looked fine.

I received it promptly and it is a good post. Due to a hole on only one end of the stay, it has come off! There are two ways for me to install the sign I can bolt it or use the holes. In the description, this is not mentioned at all. It would have been so much easier for installation if there had been holes along the pole. There have been instances where brackets have been used to mount the TV, and that is indeed possible, however, the post it will be installed against does not have enough width for brackets to be used. If there were some more descriptions, it would have been much better and would have Those who believe the holes are running the length of the pole are kindly advised to heed this warning.
With a 2x4 buffer, I was able to pound this into the ground without a problem. A bend or a twist is not permitted. I think this is a stout enough post. Currently, I have it four feet above ground level. In some cases, you may want to use the heavy duty version for six or eight inches over.
I just wanted to let you know that the spacing of the holes in this post do not match the spacing of the holes in the mirror bracket that is recommended. If you must redrill the holes, you should prepare yourself for that. It would be better to consider someone else for the position.
As described, this is a good product. The distance I had to drive to get them was about 20 miles round trip. In this case, Amazon shipped them through the US Postal Service, then the US Post Office left a card for us stating that it was oversize and they were unable to deliver! As a result, I had to drive to the PO myself to prevent them from being returned. Instead of ordering them online for delivery, if I can do that, I can go to Lowe's, Home Depot, or even Tractor Supply to buy them!.
Two signs were mounted after one was pounded into the ground, bolted to the first and the second one was attached to that. I bought these posts because they are thick, sturdy, and should last for a long time. If I had to do it again, I would get a post driver to make it easier, but I would definitely purchase these On the other hand, the enamel coating on the posts did have some surface scratches. Because the posts arrived with the packaging almost completely torn off, it is likely that it happened during shipping.
The US Post Office shipped them in a 7 foot box. They would not deliver to your front door, so you would need to pick them up at the postal office. Try to fit a 7' box in your car if you can?.
I found this to be the best product I have ever used. We chose the light version and I'm so glad we did. This material is of very high quality and very solid. It was necessary to put several No Trespassing signs out on our property in the desert, since the soil is so hard that walking through it is like Despite some minor issues, we were able to get them all into the building. The product has far exceeded our expectations and we will surely order it.
They have been helping up until the other day, but there was a huge windstorm and some of them bent as a result. The awnings are not easily replaced, so I am very upset about the way the awning bent. Yes, it was a wind storm, but I did not expect it to happen that way.
