It is not going to happen. They are misrepresenting 18mm tubing as 3/4 inch tubing.

Thank you for your inquiry. When you enlarge the image, you can see that the label says 3/4" ID. It's worth noting that Tetrapond hosing is metric, which is likely why the customer below couldn't use a 3/4" US fitting. I'm really sorry I bought it. I couldn't get the hose to fit into the fittings. I tried everything I could think of: heat, soap, ky jelly, and yelling at it, but it wouldn't budge. When I inserted my finger into the hose, I noticed that one side was smooth, while the other had pronounced ribs, which I believe prevented me from connecting. I have another 3/4-inch hose that works fine, and I've read other people's experiences with it. I wish I'd paid attention to what they were saying.
The Inner Diameter is not 3/4" as stated on the package, as other reviewers have stated. It's actually 11/16" (instead of 3/4"), which is a 1/16" undersize. br>br>Use a Heat Gun to "Warm" the tubing before fitting it to a 3/4" barbed connector. Taking care not to overheat it, as this will cause it to tear easily. br>br>This hose is so difficult to work with, and it required so much rework (due to tears at connections), that I'll re-use rigid PVC pipe instead the next time. drain the filter system in my pond A Rigid PVC connection will give me far more confidence, and it will almost certainly cost the same.
This tubing had to be completely replaced just over three years after it was installed. It's so brittle that it cracks whenever it comes into contact with something. This is in a natural freshwater pond that has never had any chemical treatments.
Although it was labeled as 3/4" ID, it was only 5/8"ID. I got what looked like the correct tubing. Cut the lengths to your specifications. I waded into my 1,700 gallon backyard koi pond to finish my project, only to discover that the ID was 5/8" ID, not 3/4". It is not possible to use! br>br>I'm hoping vend or send me the correct product; please note that the product label does say 3/4" IDbr>UPC code: Made in China 02B42 46798 19735.
The tube burst, causing a complete ruckus - Because it had just broken and my fish were in danger, I had to scramble to find replacements. I needed to put everything on hold and deal with this right away.
I have a small patio container pond with a few fish and a variety of plants. A fountain pump was sold to me at the same store where I purchased the water lily. It worked perfectly, but I had to clean it every third day to keep the intake from clogging. It also had a very short power cord that couldn't reach the outlet where I had the container pond installed. The cord on this filter is quite long, and the output is very nice and fully adjustable. The system was put together and installed in the pot in less than ten minutes. I haven't had to clean the filter sponges yet, but it shouldn't be too difficult if it's anything like my container filter for any of my large aquariums. I went ahead and ordered replacement sponges just in case (they won't be needed for months, but it's not good to need something and not be able to get it). The pond water is clear, and the bubbler fountain attachment makes a pleasant burble sound; however, the sprayer was too powerful, and I was concerned that a strong wind would force the water out of the pot, emptying it before I noticed the problem. So far, everything has gone well. Filter is a low-noise device that does a good job. My bigge.
This product is of higher quality than the Home Depot equivalent. Home Depot had the exact same item. However, because the size is slightly smaller, I was unable to use it with a connector of the same size. This item was available on Amazon, and I attempted to purchase it there. As a result, I'll be able to connect this item to my water pump.
Hose tubing in excellent condition. Long and sturdily constructed. It's working perfectly for me to connect a pump to a back yard fountain to create a waterfall effect. br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be The hose may float above the water for a few minutes after connecting it to the pump and turning on the water. Due to the presence of air in the tube, this is completely normal. It will eventually sink beneath the surface as the water fills it up.
