Questions & Answers

It can be hung on a clothesline, right?

I do not know if it may get tangled on a clothesline, so you would need a strong clothesline to hang it from. It has an opening that you can open and close, so you can attach it to something and then close the hook. There are times when the wind can really pull at the wind sock and cause the clothesline to break. I live on the lake and the clothesline has never broken even during strong winds.

Could this windsock be hung from a flagpole instead of a flag or is it likely to ?

As far as I can recall, I have always hung my from a flag pole off my balcony on the third floor without difficulty. There are times when they tangle, but if you put the flag pole in a convenient place, it shouldn't be too difficult to untangle them. There aren't many times when it happens. Over the 24 years that I have lived on the lake, I have always had a wind sock brand called "In The Breeze.". It usually needs to be replaced every 2 or 3 years, mostly because the fabric becomes tattered and faded over time. I think they are great quality and that you will be pleased with them.

I liked the color, the build quality, and the customer service

It was very colorful, sturdy, and swiveled well. Fast delivery very good condition but had some creases from packaging, so I called the company's 800 number and they were helpful and said to just iron the streamers with a low heat iron, using a cloth to set the iron a little bit apart from the wind willow. That helped me get rid of all the wrinkles. It will be good to update this review in a month or two, and see how it holds up to the Colorado sunshine (it faces south, so it will be a great test) and our spring gusts. Previously, I had wind chimes in the location where I placed the windsock. Due to our intense winds, the wind chimes had beaten the paint off the underside of the eave, so we needed to switch to something softer and more I am very pleased with how this works.

Sun every day! It is so pretty to see this bright and colorful windsock by In the Breeze! As I look out the window and see them flutter in the breeze, "Mr. Sun" makes me smile. "Mr. Sun" will see a beautiful rainbow if he looks the other way. In the Breeze brand windsocks are among the things I've purchased throughout the year for use in various seasons. The quality is high and the seams are well done. Another favorite of mine is this one- My life is better when I have "Mr. Sun" in it. My last set for at least 2 or 3 years because they are sturdy, colorful, and last awhile before I replace As a result of living right on the lake, they are subjected to harsh weather conditions including sun, wind, The quality is excellent and they are well made.

This is a great gift if you enjoy loons

The windsock was a Christmas gift I bought for a friend who enjoys loons. I am considering getting another one for myself since I like it so much. The durability of these items is not known to me at this time. Although, I have purchased other wind sock that did not look as sturdy as this one and they thrived on my windy lake just fine. I was very pleased with the price of this windsock, too! I also appreciated the great service! It was a pleasure working with.

I really like this windsock

It's quite pretty and sturdy. Those vibrant colors on this windsock really catch my eye. It is very pretty to see the hummingbird design. Despite its lightweight nature, this windsock is well stitched and has high quality fabric. I am using a windsock whose length fits perfectly where I want to hang it. The pattern will be different on the next one.

I bought the birdhouse pattern and hung it on an old swing set frame in my backyard. There is a lot of eye-catching color in this pattern. A high level of quality is evident. Buying it again is a good choice for me.
