It takes just one shaking, a squeeze of the bottle, and a few drops of the product will disperse into the wind, allowing you to see in what direction the wind is flowing.
The bottles I go through per season (bow & firearm) is usually about 1 1/2 bottles.
The vapor dissipates quickly if you aren't too far away. A wind check is a way to check the direction of the wind close to your current location.
I would compare it to a travel shampoo bottle in size. The compact size makes it easy to carry in your

My family and I have been using the wind checker since a few months ago. It works really well and you can usually see the powder go quite a distance. Currently I know that you need to shake the bottle while it is facing sideways, and spray the dust while it is facing Dust is expelled in a way that is much better.
There needs to be a lighter product inside. As a replacement for an item that my wife received as a party favor at an LPGA golf tournament, I got this product. Despite the fact that it was shaped like a golf ball (but I digress), I absolutely loved the one my wife got. I got this one after I ran out of the first. The squeeze works well, but the product that comes out is On the other hand, the powder lingered in the air and you were able to determine the wind speed from it. I don't think this product is hitting the ground quickly enough. I probably would have thought this was very good if I hadn't known about the other. Due to a better product (that did not have a name attached to it), I am spoiled by this one.
I have used this stuff for two elk hunts in southern Washington and it has been amazing for the price. Two negatives--the plume is not very thick/it is sometimes difficult to see (if you shake the box before you open it You could squeeze it, and that would mitigate the problem). The plume dissipates right away in dewy/humid air, or the moisture in the air catches the plume & dissipates immediately Assumes that everything will fall.
Wanted to see how good this stuff really is so I purchased some. As it turns out, this stuff is capable of detecting even the most subtle At an archery range, I had a chance to try it out. In order to see drafts visible to the eye, one needs to look at a nearby flag that is down. The use of weather items such as dirt, snow, crushed leaves, etc. , as well as wind meters make a great substitute for testing wind in your area.
When I had my old one, I filled it with a fine baby powder once by mistake. There are tons of scents. We have learned from this experience.
There isn't much to say about this since it is essentially talcum powder, but this method does work. Just put a small amount into the air and you will see where the steam is emitted As a hunting rig, it does its job exceptionally well, and we use it often.
Great product! I use this stuff all the time, but would like to see it in a 3 pack or 5 pack with a few deals or a refill jar.
There aren't many people using wind indicating powders like this one. This stuff has been proven to work even on the calmest of days. By detecting even slight changes in the wind currents, it detects changes in the weather.
