My expectations were far exceeded by the beauty of this ball and stand. Not a scratch or broken part to be found. Styrofoam was separately packaged and tightly wrapped in bubble wrap to keep them safe. There was an issue with damaged items during transit in the past, but it appears they have been addressed. In case you have never owned a crystal ball before, make sure to cover it when not in use with a cloth. A fire can be sparked by the sun striking it at the right angle.

While this is an attractive stand, one of the moon's tips was broken off in my case. The broken piece wasn't in the box when it was shipped and I'd glue it back together if it had been shipped like this. There is no way I could give it any less than a 5 star rating. My parcel was damaged when it was delivered to me.

I liked the look but the condition was horrible. A refund was the only thing that came out of it.
