Questions & Answers
You'll be fine if you keep your cool - It's of excellent quality.
It is dependent on the circumstances. Yes, I would smooth things out first if you have a lot of mulch and it's all bumpy, lumpy, or uneven, or you'll end up with a lot of undulation, similar to the greens at the Masters golf tournament. However, because it has drainage holes, it doesn't matter what you put it on if you lay it down. Mine is on our apartment's balcony, on a painted wood deck. As a result, I don't think the mulch, or any other common landscape surface, will harm the grass. ALSO. If you live in a windy area, you should pay special attention to anchoring. I'm not sure how well this thing would be anchored in mulch. If the wind isn't an issue, however, go ahead and do it. I hope this information is useful!
Yes, you can use the non-profit organization's services. Place a Rug Pad between the artificial grass and the flooring.
It is, indeed, soft. I was also taken aback by how nice and realistic it appears.

This is my second attempt at using synthetic grass. SunVilla got it right the first time! br>br>The Most Crucial Factor - CAN YOU FEEL IT? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes We have it on top of concrete, so it's soft and VERY comfortable to walk on, play on, and gently fall on. The second most important factor is - Is it necessary for me to use INFILL? If that's the case, how much do you think it'll cost? Is it necessary to use eco-friendly materials? Is it possible to use play sand from Home Depot, which costs $5 for a 50-pound bag? br>During the shipping process, I emailed the seller and asked if it was okay to use just play sand (because it's FIFTY TIMES CHEAPER than envirofill), and he said that people have had success with play sand but that INFILL WAS NOT NECESSARY. Wow. The artificial grass that is being replaced (as seen in the photos) required infill in order to stand upright like real grass. When I first read that infill wasn't required, I thought to myself, "Yeah, we'll see about that. " br>br>No, infill is not required! That's fantastic. Even though the SunVilla grass stands upright (for the most part), infill adds weight, bounce (rubber and envirofill type infill), and cushion. So, while infill may be beneficial, it is not required (see photos). br>br>The third most crucial factor - Durability is an important factor. Will the color fade with time, and will it withstand years of being trampled on by little feet? br>I'm not sure yet, but if that happens, I'll let you know. The fourth most important factor is - Does it appear to be genuine?
Yep. No, it does not if you place your face directly on the ground. If you're sitting on it or standing on it. It does, in fact. br>br>So far, I'm very pleased with it and would highly recommend it! br>br>I hope you found this information useful!.
I purchased this item because our two small dogs had completely destroyed the yard, and I needed something that would work all year in the Pennsylvania winters and summers. I had an 11 by 28 area to cover, so I ordered four 7 by 13 rolls to make it easier for myself and my wife to handle. The hardest part was leveling the ground and getting rid of some landscaping stones that had been pushed down into the dirt, then using the weed barrier underneath and laying it out on top. I didn't want a typical flat perfectly flat yard, so I used the weed barrier underneath and laid it out on top. I would highly recommend this product; I will update this review after a few months of Winter use, but so far everything appears to be in good working order. br>br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. This item fared exceptionally well during the winter. The stuff looks brand new after a thorough cleaning with a brush and hose, followed by raking. I'm very pleased with the product, and the cut edges are holding up well. The black stings from the backing do show up at the seams every now and then, but a quick snip with scissors takes care of that. This product has made me very happy.
I installed it myself and had to piece pieces together. I didn't do a great job, so most of the lines are visible now, but they will fade over time. I did a lot of research and found this to be the best value, and I'm very pleased with the product's quality; it was shipped quickly and came individually wrapped.
I bought this product twice because I wanted to test it out on a smaller area first, and the first time everything went smoothly, and the delivery company contacted me to set up a delivery date. They arrived on time and dropped off the turf at my door. Keep in mind that they only send one person in the truck, which means they won't be able to climb stairs or bring it inside if you need it. I hired someone to assist me in transporting it to my backyard and installing it. Because I'm using it for a playground, I didn't nail it to the ground or cover it with sand. It's been great so far. It is in good condition. It's squishy (in terms of turf, at least). It's a big hit with the kids. I was so pleased with my first experience that I ordered a second rug to cover the entire backyard, and the delivery company called me to schedule the delivery once more. The turf, on the other hand, did not show up this time. I checked the order status on Amazon after a few days to see if it had been cancelled, and it had! It also stated that the delivery had been refused in the "reason for cancellation" field. I couldn't say no to something I'd been looking forward to for a long time. That day, I didn't leave the house (in fact, I hadn't left the house in weeks), and my entire family was present. So, my guess is that the delivery company made a mistake and instead of calling me to reschedule the delivery, they simply cancelled it. Now I have to wait an unknown amount of time for my refund and to purchase a new turf rug. This is a real shame, because this aspect of the experience ruined the product for me. What good does it do if you can't get your hands on it?.
I've had it for about a month and regret buying it because my backyard smells like urine (from my dog) and is a soggy mess due to recent rainstorms. Do your homework and choose a brand that is more dependable and long-lasting.
