My baby girl even crawled on it when she was a baby. It is pet friendly and very comfortable for my feet. Although it was very easy to cut using a carpet knife, I would recommend the seller ship it rolled, not folded, as folding leaves creases that are apparent, but I believe they might decrease over time. It is a little thinner than I expected, but the overall look is amazing.
