Uncertainty is the result of my inexperience. The truth didn't matter to me, so I didn't measure it. It might have fit in a mailbox that was wider, but since mine wasn't wide, I took the chance and got the smaller one.

The seller did not reply to my email after I loved the design. It's not possible for me to give 5 stars because someone missed the mark on how to fold the mailbox cover to avoid tearing it. It came the same way the second time, but was not cracked where it had been The vinyl or whatever it is - the poly something - DOESN'T WORK WELL when folded in quarters. The fault would seem to lie with the seller instead of Amazon, but I'm not sure.
It's amazing how good the picture quality is! Additionally, the mailbox is perfectly sized for it! There was a problem with the packaging so I gave 3. I unfolded it and it had been folded tightly. When I opened it it had creases all over, and it was cracked where it had been creased. The mailbox isn't too bad since it is on a red part and it is atop the mailbox when it is applied, but it is an inconvenience nonetheless! Then I bought another magnet from a different company, and they rolled it up, which was also great! The reason I don't understand why they chose to fold it is that I would like to remove the remaining creases from it. **EDIT** After I returned it, it was very easy to make a return (though I had never returned anything so easy before) but after receiving the new one, it was folded so badly that it creased right up! One place rolled it up, while another just folded it. It looks like I will return this one and look for another company. It is so frustrating since the design is absolutely perfect for my mother-in-law. It would be nice not to have to give any stars to rate.
The product was folded into quarters when it was received. As soon as I unfolded it, I discovered it was torn at its intersection with The vinyl and backing are quite thick, so this may have caused the issue. In the past I've ordered mailbox covers that had only one strip per side, came folded in half, instead of quarters, and had strips on all four sides. My attempt to capture a picture of the tears was to take the picture of the intersection of the folds.
Thanks for putting this together. However, it starts to rip as soon as it is placed on the mailbox. In addition to being folded into fourths, it is likely to tear at the creases as a result of all the folds. A quick rip ensued. It would have been better to ship the items in tubes rather than rolls. We gave the product a two star rating instead of a five star review because the vinyl mail box cover had a few creases that couldn't be removed. After trying to flatten them out with weights, and hanging the cover up on my refrigerator for a couple of days, I finally got things to flatten out.
