This product has not caused any issues for me.
It's impossible to say for sure, but I'm guessing it's due to expiration dates and quality concerns.
On the product page, there is a section to the left that says "sold by" and "shipped by." Suppliers may take longer than Amazon prime shipping if it says shipped by someone other than Amazon.

This seed for birds is fantastic. I have a clear bird house that attaches to the window. It's on my back deck, and this mix attracts more birds to my home throughout the day. My children have learned a lot about all of the different birds that visit us because of the distraction provided by the window. The greatest investment I've ever made. br>br>I've tried a few of Wagner's blends, and they're all fantastic. There's no filler, it's always fresh, and the fact that different birds eat different things ensures that it disappears evenly. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative Before making almost any purchase, whether online or in person, I rely heavily on Amazon reviews, as do many other people. as well as brick-and-mortar establishments I always give my honest opinion in my reviews. It's a bit pricey, but I wanted to start with the "best" blend for attracting the Celebrity birds that I recall watching with my grandfather. I'll start with a list of the birds we were seeing before we got the feeder, then move on to the "new" birds we saw during the 35 days it took them to crush the entire 8 pound bag. To give you a sense of where we live, we're in central Kentucky. Our yard had a pair of Mourning Doves, a couple of Robins, and a family of Carolina Chickadees before we hung the feeder. We'd see a Blue Jay, Cardinal, or Common Grackle every now and then. It's not bad, but it's also not great. Let's take a look at what the Songbird Supreme is capable of. br>br>It took a few days for word of the new menu to spread throughout the neighborhood, but the Northern Cardinals were the first to notice it, and within a few days, three distinct individuals were frequenting the feeder. The Chickadees then discovered it and thoroughly enjoyed it. We saw House Sparrows, Song Sparrows, a few House Finches, Tufted Titmice, Downy Woodpeckers, and even a Mockingbird over the next few weeks, which are all excellent birds. On the downside, we occasionally get jerks like Common Grackles and Brown Headed Cowbirds. But, in comparison to the songbirds, they don't seem to enjoy it as much. I didn't see any wrens, warblers, or goldfinches, but I believe they would be attracted by a thistle feeder. The birds, on the other hand, make a complete mess of things. br>br> My feeder is hung over a decorative gravel bed, and there are a lot of little weeds growing in it after going through a whole bag of feed. I would not hang this over grass if you are concerned about weeds in your lawn. Chipmunks will be drawn to the mess beneath the feeder. They just eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat until br>br>I deducted a star for value because it is so expensive; it was $17 per bag when I purchased it, and it took them over a month to finish it. If the consumption rate remained constant throughout the year, the annual cost would be around $200. As of this writing, the bag is listed for $12, which is a much better price, so if you can, get it on sale. br>br>For the packaging, I deducted one more star. It's not bad, but it has a "velcro" type closure that caused me to spill a lot of it on my driveway the first time I tried to seal it. It's just a little tricky to make sure it's completely closed, which is crucial if you don't want mice to get into it while it's being stored. A regular plastic zipper closure, in my opinion, would have been preferable. br>br>In conclusion, if you don't mind the price, I highly recommend this blend; my wife was initially uninterested in the various types of birds, but after a month of spotting them, she is completely enamored with them. The Tufted Titmouse is her favorite because he appears to be dressed in a business suit. After the first bag, I planned to switch to a less expensive blend, but she won't let me buy any more. Birdwatching is a fun way for me to break up the monotony of quarantine while also bringing back memories of birdwatching with my grandfather.
Sunflower seeds are plentiful! I put a handful of this out on top of a table in my yard and it was all gone by nighttime!
The label% It is certainly more than 50% as shown in the photos shown in the photos shown in the photos shown in the photos br>br>I didn't have many birds in the yard when I started this seed, but I'm sure word will spread quickly! It was a fantastic deal, in my opinion.
This is for you if your birds enjoy millet. Millet is the cheapest seed that companies use to make low-cost bird seed, according to what I've heard. One would have assumed that the proportion of millet would be small based on the package image and the chart of birds attracted to this particular product. No, putting out a cup of seed in the morning will result in a half cup of millet seed that the birds will not eat in the afternoon. There are a lot of black sunflower seeds. A teeny-tiny amount of safflower, striped sunflower seed, a few sunflower hearts, and a scattering of peanuts; it wouldn't be so bad if the price wasn't so exorbitant. This is a product I will not buy again.
It's essentially cheap wild bird seed that's been repackaged and labeled as a "songbird blend. " When my other seed ran out, I got a tenth of the birds I did a few days ago. The birds that do arrive spit out the majority of the seed, which is mostly small yellow round ones like the ones in this bag. Instead, get "PREMIUM Songbird Food" from Amazon or Walmart, which is packed with the best seeds, peanuts, and dried fruit and is less expensive. PREMIUM attracts over 25 different bird species to my feeder.
My only complaint is that the larger birds will push out the smaller seeds to go after the larger seeds like sunflower seeds, which is why even if I fill the bird feeder completely, it's gone in one day and it's like a wild bird farm in my back yard; my only complaint is that the larger birds will push out the smaller seeds to go after the larger seeds like sunflower seeds, which is why even if I fill it entirely, it's gone in one day and it's like a wild bird farm in my br>br>One of the questions asked is whether spilt seed will grow, and the answer is "no. " I have a large empty pot sitting under but to the side of the bird feeder, and seeds that have been knocked into it have already begun to grow (see photo). So, if you have a grass-only lawn, this seed can help you change it. This, however, is a bonus if you're like me.
Birds enjoy this blend, but I prefer to get what products say they have listed, and this blend has a lot more white millet, which wild birds enjoy, but it is lacking in black oil sunflower, striped sunflower, sunflower chips, peanut kernels, and safflower seeds. I like buying from Wagner's because their products are always fresh and reasonably priced. I wish I could give this blend five stars, but I have to say that it is what it is, and I'm hoping Wagner's will improve the blend. Wild birds, on the other hand, seem to enjoy it. Chickadees, Cardinals, Titmice, Nuthatches, and a variety of other birds:.
