As an aside, I must admit that when I ordered this, I thought the solar power was for realizing a fountain effect. I assumed water cascaded naturally, when I tried to turn it on (after letting it charge for a few hours in the sun) and it was not working, I was worried it was broken. There's just no way for it to work like The light that it emits does make it very pretty when it is dark. This evening, after coming home from work, I saw it lit and was very pleased with it. Even though I did not get what I envisioned, I still got something beautiful for the same reason. )
I'm not certain how much it matters to the birds. As a result, they haven't had time to become accustomed Regardless of whether they use it, I am happy to have it as a very beautiful garden ornament.
As for the light, it works perfectly as well. You're right, I love On the same day we received it, we put it in the garden. * Update * This date has been adjusted to Oct. 5, 2017. In a dry sunny day, the whole light assembly fell off of its own accord. Five months were all that it lasted. There is still life in it, but it will have to be glued back in.
There is a lack of LED night light. I absolutely love how beautiful and well decorated this bowl is. For charging the LEDs, there is a transparent window so that solar cells can be seen. With the LEDs mounted to the cylinder and the switch, the LEDs can be turned off if they are not There is a black adhesive that was used to attach the cylinder to the glass, but it did not hold the cylinder in place during shipping, and the LED was loose when the box was opened. We did not have any Hummingbirds take notice of it despite the fact that it was no more than a couple of feet away from the feeder. As soon as I twisted the cylinder into the dried adhesive, it remained in place for a few minutes but would fall out the next day. When a storm is predicted, I bring the stand indoors when it is on a glass patio table, and the bowl moves on the stand as well.
My gardener wife enjoys it so much. A birdbath like this looks fantastic at any time of the day or She wanted it in the front garden, near the hummingbird feeder area. I thought that was the perfect spot for it. While it took a few days for the battery to charge, the reason for that may have been due to the lack of clear skies much of the time. The only issue I encountered in setting it up for her was that it was very difficult to determine whether or not the switch was on or off. far as I recall, I finally removed the rubber protecting cover over the switch so that I could see its position. It has been about two months since we got it.
I had the birdbath for two days, but the solar light fell off the second day. It looks like I'll have to go find some superglue to try to repair Unfortunately, this product is a little disappointing for the price and quality of the product.
Don't forget that my deck has had the colours fade to an unbelievable extent after less than a month. Originally, the flowers on the side and in the center of the vase were a deep, bright pink when this arrived on July 21. The attached photo was taken on I am really disappointed.
I love the bird bath, because it looks great outside in my backyard in the evening the solar light lights it up, making the bath very attractive. However, the bright pink flower in the center is fading after just a few weeks This is unfortunate and I wish it would.
At the end of my porch, next to the bird feeders, I place them. Seeing them glow at night is something I'm looking forward to.
I would only be concerned about the unsecure nature of this product and the product's size. I thought it would be taller for some reason. Despite my memory, I do not recall seeing any dimensions, and I didn't take the time to actually look, which is entirely my fault. The stand looks like it will collapse and the glass may be broken by a squirrel or whatever lands He likes it very much and it was a gift I gave him for Father's Day. It may last for a while.
