It would be determined by the bowl's shape. The diameter of the ring is 11 inches. The chain clearance above the ring has about 1" of free space. A 13" diameter. The bowl would fit into the ring, but it could be damaged if the chains came into contact with it. Best wishes to you. The hanger is of good quality.

I was on the verge of giving up after failing to find a suitable replacement for an old hanging birdbath. The majority of them are too deep for the birds to do anything other than drink. After all, I'm not attempting to submerge them. A shallow dish with a gradual incline, rather than a slope, is required. So I purchased this ring and paired it with an Ebay-purchased solid copper 12" serving tray. (I found a few for under $20 on eBay. ) ) I used a hammer to round out the center bottom and make it a little deeper in the middle. It works perfectly, and every now and then I see two goldfinches splashing around in it-- It's a favorite of small songbirds. br>At first, the tray was about half an inch deep, but the center had been pounded out to about an inch deep. br>br>Another advantage of this design is that the lightweight tray is simple to remove from the frame and wash. Manufacturers of birdbaths should be aware of the following: Birds don't take baths all the way up to their necks. They make a lot of noise. Perhaps some shallow bird baths would be a good idea?.
This 11-year-old boy was paired with a 12-year-old girl. a 12 inch hanging ring with a 12 inch hanging ring with a 12 inch hanging ring (Bloem SDC12-inch plant saucer) 12-inch Dura Cotta Plant Saucer, 46 oz. 6 dollars for an inch of Terra Cotta 98) as a watering hole for birds. The saucer is exactly the right size! The links in the chain are extremely strong. In my backyard, I have a second one.
The Achla Hammered Birdbath Bowl with a Rim is compatible with this chain. It's sturdy and just the right size to keep the bowl from slipping. The smaller birds like to drink while hanging from the chain, and the chain never slips. It's a fantastic design that does exactly what it says on the tin.
I used to be I. Arrived on time, and the product was exactly what I expected. I only ordered the hanging ring at first, and it was filled with an aluminum pie plate. That's fine, but I ordered a matching copper bowl from Achla today and expect it to arrive tomorrow.
For my second-floor balcony, I wanted a hanging bird bath. Everything I saw was either too flimsy, made of the wrong material, or had poor durability ratings. I came up with the idea of making my own. A 64-inch shepherd's hook and a 14-inch-diameter terra cotta saucer with a 12-inch base were purchased. Now is the time. br>br> What should I use to hang the saucer with? This hanging ring came up in my Amazon search. I bit the bullet and bought it because it appeared to be well-made. It was delivered to me just now. The ring appears to be well made and sturdy in person. From the top of the hook to the bottom of the ring, it measures approximately 17" in length. I plan to use it for a long time.
It is highly recommended.

It's extremely well-made. BUT, if you buy the saucer at the same time, you'll have a hard time finding something to put it on.
