It cracked from the snow we had last night as I went out to add water. There is a big crack in the middle bottom of the dumpster, and it has fallen
Most likely yes, but a lot depends on what's underneath. I don't think it would break if it is grass or mulch, but I believe that it would break if it is gravel or stone.
What an utter failure of reasoning it is for someone to answer a question with a phrase such as "I don't know!"! You can find all the dimensions of the item in the description. As shown in the illustration, the depth is 2".

As it is shallow, and the birds do get pretty messy pretty quickly, it needs to be emptied and cleaned pretty regularly (I do that every single It is very easy to just tip it up to get rid of soiled water since it is hanging. My next step is to spray it with the garden hose to clean it and then refill it. When I clean and refill it, it takes me longer to get the hose over there than to clean and get it back into position.
I love this product! The sunflower and bird print was purchased for my sister who is a huge sunflower and bird fan! This is what she hung over her front porch, and the birds love it as much as she does! The other day we had a big storm, with strong winds (some of my big potted plants were blown I heard my sister says the bird bath she uses never moves! I would like to add one more point. As part of the "features" section, we are asked to rate "Easy to assemble. ". There did not need to be an assembly! That's as simple as it gets!.
Solid and beautiful, this item has a very high quality feel to it. Keeping your home clean is so easy. It does not need much cleaning due to the fact that the birds ignore it almost entirely. Every day we have a great variety of birds visiting our feeder, but only three times have I seen a chickadee drink from it. It has not rained a single drop of water. Why am I unable to figure it out? What if it's because the bird bath is smaller than the average one? Honestly, I'm not sure but I like the way the birds have access to water when they need it. It's still a great purchase, so I'm happy I purchased.
After I returned it, I didn't even bother hanging it up. An extremely thin, very small piece of metal is used to attach the chains and it is unlikely to last even a couple days. When I received it, the chain was also twisted, so I had to take it apart to untangle it.
I opened it just a few minutes ago and the chain is broken, so it cannot be used. The obviousness of this issue cannot be denied. It took me a little effort to close the chain loop, but the item is now hung in my back yard. The plate appears to be of a good size for birds. Having a diameter that is not too large and not too deep is nice. This item is pretty with the design on the outside and smooth glass on the inside. It goes well with my decor. We have not seen any birds thus far, but it is quite cold outside right now. The idea appeals to me. It would be great if my birds would do that.
There are a lot of bees attracted to.
I liked the fact that it is smaller than I had originally planned. Our porch is full of cute little birds that visit us, so we wanted something a little smaller. It looks great with the sun shining through the water, and the glass sunflower adds a wonderful touch.
During the Summer and Fall, I had so much fun watching the birds at the birdbath. Unlike the water in the river, the birds don't splash around in the water, but they do stop and drink when they get thirsty. Then, in the fall, we had an unusually cold snap. If you freeze water within the glass and it breaks, as someone else pointed out, it It's time to bring it in for the winter.
