Questions & Answers

Is it a product of the United States of America?

It claims to be made in the United States. Yes, it is manufactured in the United States of America. I am a resident of the United States of America. I also feed it to the wildlife in my backyard, which includes squirrels, chipmunks, birds, and deer. I put it out in the morning before going to work, and by the time I get home, most of it is gone! It's all gone by the next morning, so I make more. When I'm home for the day, I put it out first thing in the morning, and the squirrels are there to eat within minutes.

Hello, could you tell me what kind of material your bag is made of?

Hello, it's a strong plastic bag.br>

Is this product loaded with sugar or corn syrup?

The following is a list of ingredients: Squirrels, rabbits, and a variety of bird species enjoy corn, black oil sunflower seeds, peanuts, and whole peanuts in my yard.

What is the best way to feed squirrels in the trees? I mean, there's a cat nearby, so how do you feed squirrels on higher ground without getting eaten by the cat?

Our feeders are about four to five feet off the ground, but there are no feral cats in our neighborhood. Our dogs are faster than the squirrels, so we make it a point to go out with them to avoid problems.

It was disappointing
3/5

There is more corn than seed. For all of my backyard critters, I've tried a variety of seed/nut products. I chose this brand because it was significantly less expensive than my usual brand; after all, the old adage "you get what you pay for" holds true. Cracked corn makes up the majority of the'mixture,' which my squirrels and other animals don't care for. I'm assuming that the abundance of corn is due to the fact that it is less expensive than seeds. I had hoped that this brand would at least be comparable to my usual brand, but it was not. Unfortunately, I had to put out almost twice as much to feed my little 'friends. ' Very let down.

I was extremely disappointed
3/5

I was a little let down. It appears that there are more cracked corn kernels than whole kernels based on the image description. Yes, there is an excessive amount of corn on the table! There are no critters in my immediate vicinity that eat whole kernels, except perhaps raccoons, which I doubt. As a result, I stopped purchasing "critter food. " This struck me as unusual. Audubon had me expecting a lot more.

The Ideal Supper! The product is backed up by our woodland neighbors
5/5

"It's the best," we said this morning as we watched eight deer and eight squirrels feast together. We've placed a large order for them, and many birds seem to enjoy the critter crunch as well.

How much would you be willing to pay for a pound of corn kernels? I'm not sure what sad little algorithm Amazon uses, but the review section for this wild animal food asked me to rate the product's "warmth" and "thickness
3/5

"br>br>So here it is. The food is neither hot nor cold. br>br> Unless it's very hot or very cold outside, the food heats up to the same temperature as the surrounding air. The thickness. br>br> Well. While there are plenty of corn kernels (that's all you're paying for here, folks), they're about as thick as. hmm. I'm having second thoughts. as . I'll figure it out. as. A CORN KERNEL! That is, in fact, the case. br>br>The peanuts are similar in size and shape to peanuts. As much as The Chipstwr enjoys his peanuts, both the shelled and unshelled varieties are nice, but there's not much else in this bag. br>br>You're paying an Audubon price for Audubon naked feed that would cost a tenth of what you'd pay at your local feed store. Because you get nearly whole black sunflower seeds and corn kernels. Peanuts are present, both shelled and unshelled, but in very small quantities. Thankfully, the Eurasian Collared doves like corn; otherwise, my chipmunks would have made a poor choice. And it was a complete waste of money on my part.

It's too much for the squirrels! Five out of five stars! Watch the video and enjoy yourself
5/5

I bought Audubon Park Premium Squirrel Food for the numerous squirrels that frequent the small wildlife sanctuary we've built behind our church's parking lot. br>This year's winter in New England has been a strange one. From November to the middle of February We've had record-breaking warmth in January, and none of the animals have had the desire to sleep in for the winter. Of all the active and rambunctious squirrels, this is the least active and rambunctious of them all. I record the activities of these lovable critters, as well as anything else that might fly, flitter, prance, or crawl in, using a critter cam. This Audubon Park Premium squirrel food is a big hit with my squirrels. I put some in their tree-mounted squirrel feeders and strew a lot more around the ground, where they love to play and put on a show while "hunting" for it. br>I used my critter cam to make a video that shows the squirrels eating antics. Tom, the Squirrel Whispererbr>I hope you enjoy it.

Corn, corn, and more corn! I'm sorry I bought this without thinking for the second time! There's a lot of corn in it! The corn isn't eaten by the squirrels or birds in my yard
3/5

It's all over the ground because they knocked it out of the feeders. What a shambles it was to clean up! I can't bring it back because it's too heavy, so I'll throw it away.

My critters are as happy as I am! Ducks and rabbits have all given their approval
5/5

Because I feed a variety of backyard critters, I'll begin my review there. Along with a diverse range of wild Pacific Northwest birds, I have ducks, squirrels, rabbits, and raccoons on occasion. I've been trying to come up with a combination that would cover as many of them as possible in a single bag/food. I paid around $20 for the 15-pound bag. Ducks prefer corn, nuts, and sunflowers; squirrels prefer a variety of nuts; rabbits prefer corn; and wild birds prefer sunflower seeds and small nuts and seeds. Raccoons eat anything they can get their hands on, including: For backyard critters, I've tried both Wagner's and Kaytee, but prefer Audubon Parks. by far. There's a good selection of each, with the exception of the "shelled" peanuts, which isn't a big deal because there are plenty of other nuts in the bag. This is purely for my own enjoyment, as I enjoy watching the squirrels hold their babies. spit their nuts out with their adorable little paws, then eat them- So I went out and bought a bag of shelled peanuts to add to the Audubon mix. This is just my preference, but it has enough nuts. I am pleased with the quantity and quality of each ingredient. Neither the critters nor the humans have expressed any dissatisfaction. From now on, I will purchase this brand. Thank you for your prompt and efficient delivery.

This isn't junk
5/5

Squirrels, chipmunks, Blue jays, and Cardinals all enjoy this tasty treat. I have 5 squirrels who like to eat on my lap (separately), and when I can't be around because of rotating shifts at work, I put this out before the tree rats get their peanut butter and crackers, and they enjoy it almost as much as the peanut butter and crackers I give them. Now that I've discovered this great deal, I keep it on hand at our home. The Blue Jays and Cardinals, as well as the chipmunks, are big fans.
