Depending on how thick your grass is and how closely you crop it, your mowing will differ. A feature of this mower increases the power when it hits As I first started to use it, I had my cutting height set too low, which pushed the mower to work harder. After about 2/3 through my small yard, the battery died. With the 2AH battery, I was able to finish on one charge in about half an hour in Florida's fairly thin winter grass using the increased height. By using the 4AH battery I'm able to cut summer grass in about the same amount of time with a significant amount of charge remaining. Using a 4AH battery on average grass of average length and density, I would guess it would last about 45 minutes or possibly even an hour. Though I am very happy with my mower, I would not recommend it for people with really large lawns or who plan to cut thick weeds.
Hello, I would like to know what this 40V battery is equipped with. The unit is operated, but unfortunately, does not operate on its own A propelled vehicle.
Thank you for your inquiry, Charles. The mower comes with a four year manufacturer's warranty, and the battery is covered by two years.
I welcome you to my site. I see you have a 4AH battery, in ideal conditions you can get 60 minutes of run time.

Let me begin by saying that this is an impressive mower for the battery powered category. Compare this product with a gas mower, apples and oranges, don't make the mistake. We moved from a home with a half-acre yard where we used top quality gas mowers, to a home with a tiny yard where I wanted to give up gas mowers. Since I also own an electric pressure washer made by greenworks, I chose this one. The product is great by the way. It only took Amazon 3 days to ship this mower to my doorstep! I was able to assemble it very easily. The packaging was very nice. The battery can be charged quickly and is beefy. The battery was at 50% of its charge after I finished mowing our backyard, taking 20 to 25 minutes Starting the mower is easy and quick, and it is quite quiet as well. Several others have mentioned that the bag is small, and I removed it three times from my lawn after mowing an 1800 square-foot lawn There are 30 feet in the I used the lowest setting and it seemed to have plenty of power. Being able to raise and lower the height was also simple. Our homeowners association takes care of our front yard, so I didn't need to buy a mower as I don't have to mow my grass. Although I have one large complaint about this mower, it's not a deal breaker. As the bag is small and extremely permeable, dust from your lawn will just blow right through it, so it's ideal for lawns that get dusty. In the south, there is a lot of pollen on the ground right now, so the yellow pollen literally blew all over the place and covered This is a great mower, but if you have tall grass, thick grass, and a lot of it, you should purchase a gas powered one instead. The world is limited in some way. I wish you all the best on your journey!.
In the past twenty years, I owned an electric rotary mower with a cordless system. I found it to be very useful The technology looked promising, but the battery on this particular machine could not be removed for recharging or replacement, and by the end of the two years, the battery couldn't be charged and the machine had to be discarded. The way it worked, though, was pleasing to me Fuel does not need to be stored, there are no fumes to breath, and it is not necessary to constantly pull the cord to start As a lawn care enthusiast looking for a new mower, I was pleased to discover the Greenworks machine that seemed to bring this technology into the 21st century. Although the reviews described some problems with the mower, I was concerned about the number of people who did not have success with it. Then my son (a good mechanic) and I were unable to start the machine. After checking the battery (it was fully charged), I contacted customer service. A helpful person requested documentation (serial number, proof of purchase) and then offered to send a replacement to me. The woman told me to keep the unusable machine for spare parts I could return it if I wanted to. I received a replacement within ten days, it worked right out of the box, and has been working well It is apparent that the manufacturer's quality control is not related to the machine's technology, but I am pleased to recommend their customer service to any other person who experiences the same problems I did. As an aside, I believe the new machine is another dud as on the second day I mowed the lawn, the motor kept stalling, and I was discouraged to think that it must be a As I inspected the blade further, I found a piece of the tough nylon mason's twine (rotary mowers' Achilles' heel) stuck to the blade. Despite the tangle, it was easy to remove the blade and unwrap the twine thereafter, the mower worked fine. As far as I am concerned, the only problem with the machine is that it is not as easy to adjust the mowing height as the instruction manual indicates Even though it is a bit of a hassle, it is possible. As for the mower, here in green Vermont, I have found the perfect model for my small, fragmented lawn.
In a nutshell, The listing said it would be small, so I expected it to be small. Therefore, it should come as no surprise. My plans to cut grass after dark were ruined when it arrived about in the dark, so I didn't even go to the yard to cut grass. Although I was unable to open or assemble the box, I did open it and Simply flip the handle up, screw in the two screws to hold the handles together, and it's set up. Besides that, the path will be 14 inches long. You will have to use an electric cord, so that is an issue. To be honest, this mower is pretty good for its size, it cuts grass well. This may look like a toy, but its not one. One thing I don't like about it is that it does not have a The bag can be used or the mulch can be used. As soon as the bag is nearly full, mine shuts off, I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen. As a whole, it's a pretty decent little mower and it does a good job for a small property.
A 2 ah battery was instead of a 4 ah battery. In lieu of the g max 40V 4 I was supposed to receive, instead I received a g max 40V 5. A 2ah battery was hidden inside this mower but it came with a 0ah After I bought it and used it a week later, I realized it was damaged, so I cannot return it. In general, I did not get what I had paid for because the 4ah battery is more expensive. I now get less runtime for the same price. It was a disappointment. A week later, I purchased the blower/trimmer combo, and I received the incorrect battery with it as well. It's been a long hunt and I can't even match the part number to the battery I received. If you are paying for something, be sure that you are receiving it.
My battery has long lasted now and then, but there have been some times when it didn't. I purchased an extra battery for this purpose. Astonished at the power the mowing had, I began to mow the grass. The motor is as powerful as a gas mower, and sometimes it even seems more powerful. Because it can be turned off and on easily, I like it. By doing this, it is very easy to maximize battery/power performance. Early in the morning it is very quiet, so I can mow that early. It is easy to put in and take out the battery and charges quickly. Having not purchased a gas mower, I am so glad I did not!.
Our mower has only been in use for less than a year, and already the battery has failed to In fact, the battery no longer holds a charge after having been used about twice a month since February. We bought it at the end of October. I'm disappointed to say the least.
