Questions & Answers

How does this product work? Does it act like anti freeze, or is it only meant ?

It seems to be both a pro- and a con The seals of the pump must be lubricated with a lubricant and a liquid freeze. In a year, I may only use my washer three or four times, which could cause the seals to I usually measure out 2 or 3 ounces and pour it into the machine. I have my 2 cents to add!

Using the entire bottle or just enough so some comes out the back end is what you need to do. Or, in other words, can we use this multiple ways?

I would like to welcome you The system does not stop so much that it does not go through. Bottles do not have to be used in their entirety.

There is a K3 follow me electric washer in my home Is there a way to turn it on so that its contents can be drawn into the pump? It's not a good idea to turn it on! Everyone said not to! ?

Pump Guard has detailed instructions on how to apply it, which state With an Electric Driven Mover, you simply turn it on and it will bring the contents through. I always find this solution to be effective.

Pump will not take it. The fluid fills the bottle outlet only and never reaches the inlet. When I squeeze and pull the starter cord numerous times, nothing happens. ?

The Karcher G2800XC does not have any issues with this. My wife held a clear plastic cup under the outlet while I pulled the starter cord 5 or 6 times, causing a small amount of fluid to shoot out. A vacuum created by the nozzle caused the bottle to collapse to some extent. The actual amount of resources used was quite limited. I will store it after we use it this spring so I can use it again.

It was my hope that things would turn out Although the product is probably functioning adequately, I was hoping to find a direct replacement for the Briggs and Stratton "Pump Saver" pressurized foam that has been my constant companion It's disappointing that Karcher is making such a big deal out of this stuff
3/5

I like the fact that it is thin, runny, and is not There's a tendency for it to drain out of the pump right away. Probably leaves some residue behind, but there is no way to know how well it may force water out of the pump and how much product may be left behind to protect it. The second issue is that the lid does not fit tightly. A loose fitting plastic cap prone to falling off keeps the cap from fitting tightly. It is hard to comprehend why this bottle does not have a proper cap in a world full of disposable plastic bottles. As a result, I won't purchase this product again. Instead, I will return to Pump Saver, which is an anti-foaming product that uses pressurized force to push water from water pumps while leaving behind a thick foam residue in.

Among the services he provides are shower valves and plumbing fittings
5/5

Sadly, the damage to our pressure washer has gone too far for this stuff to restore it. Our showerhead was not only cleaned but it worked surprisingly well! My in-home security system has been in operation for the past couple of years The line is shut off An on/off valve and a selectable multi-position valve The shower head in our bathroom is a massaging spray. Our lack of a water softener led to both of those cool accessories becoming crusty, difficult to clean, slow to run, stiff to operate, and just generally gross. After I realized that I had a bunch of extra Karcher conditioner on hand, I realized it could be used to clean that shower head and valve, and after soaking for a few hours, I was like, "Wow!"! Their performance was not only better, but they were also faster. As soon as we moved in, they were perfect. It's been a couple months and we're still happy with them There is a bit of a sticking issue with the valve, but the showerhead is still much.

There is no valve on the product as shown in the picture, and the instructions are insufficient
3/5

A good product and concept have been created. My two stars are due to the fact that I received a bottle with no valve, so I spilled the solution during the use of the bottle. In addition, the instructions were insufficient in that I did not know whether to turn off the pressure washer when the solution first came out, or if I should use the entire bottle when it came out. As a result of reading other reviews, I realized the bottle can be used twice, so I wasted 2/3 of it. Isn't too big of a deal since I'll learn for next time. However, the instructions should have been more clear. It's out of the question to send a different product then what is shown. In addition to what was discussed before, if the valve isn't on, the solution spills.

DO YOU THINK CORROSION IS A COMMON FEATURE? Pump guard is a precaution I purchased prior to putting in my electric pump
4/5

As a result of reading and researching In light of the fact that I have never experienced pump corrosion with my gas washer, I decided it would be a more useful antifreeze measure for me. By blowing out the pump with compressed air, I was able to get the hardened debris off. An easy fit was provided by a made up fitting An intake and an outlet for the compressor The water coupling is made of brass. The only way to know if I was right is to wait and see.

A lubricant that's easy to use and antibacterial For a pressure washer, you can freeze the water
5/5

A couple of months ago, I bought a new pressure washer. Pump saver is supposed to be put through it after every use, according to the manual. The excess pressure washer cleaner I purchased was the second bottle of this stuff, but after using it 20+ times I have used only 3/4 of one of them. The bottle is screwed to the hose inlet of the pump, then I squeeze the bottle, and sometimes I pull the rope (with the kill switch and the rope) to get it working. Turn the gas line off and on a couple of I stop when I see it shoot out of the outlet. Simply tell me how to do it. In addition to being an antifreeze, it also serves as a pump lubricant. The OS rarely freezes where I live so I mostly just keep the power off and follow the manual A lubricant was applied to the moving parts and rings. All in all, this was an easy final step before storing the washer and keeping it in good condition for the next time it is used. The first bottle has been consumed, and the second has been purchased. Currently, everything is running well for the pressure washer, and the pump saver appears to be working.

The 2,500 psi pressure washer from Karcher makes good use of this winter pump lube
4/5

Our Karcher 2,500 PSI gas powered pressure washer is adequately protected from the cold by keeping its water pump lubricated when not in use throughout the winter. It is still more convenient to use Briggs & Stratton In addition to being foamy in texture, Stratton Pump Saver sticks to the interior parts of the pump much better than other types of lubricants. Unlike the Karcher, which is primarily liquid, it flows through and out the pump too easily, requiring a larger amount to be dispersed. This app is simple enough for anyone The washer should be shut off at the beginning. The water supply lines (inlet and outlet) must be disconnected. You should pull the engine start handle a couple of times to get the pump to discharge the Pull the start handle another couple of times until the Kacher Lube leaks freely. Connect the Kacher Lube bottle to the water source connection and attach the Kacher Lube bottle to the water source connection. Several seasons should be able to be gotten out of one bottle. Observe that the column B and column C are both repeating We will have more than double this life expectancy with Stratton.

Pumps are protected by this device
4/5

Pumps are lubricated and protected against corrosion with this oil. I dose the pump each time after using it so that it can be stored safely. It's been my go-to pump since the day it came out. I have it for six years now and it still works like a charm. As for connecting the bottle with the pump, it is a bit tricky so as not to leak fluid in the process, so in my opinion the connection could be better.

I like the way the product works and how easily it can be used
5/5

In contrast to what another reviewer claims, I think this preservative works very well in a non-pressurized bottle. In a pressurized vessel, you'd waste a good deal of liquid. The directions (on the bottle) explain simply how to use it, and you only need to apply a small amount each time, which means one 16-oz bottle will last for 16 weeks. A 16-ounce bottle can last a long time. I've used the same bottle for several years while cleaning with my pressure washer a couple of times per There's only one thing I don't like about this purchase, and it's Amazon's price. I made the mistake of trusting that Amazon would have the lowest price, as they usually do, and I ended up paying $10 for it. For it, 24 points are needed. In the end, I discovered that it was available for only $6 at Sears. Walmart charges $4 for the same product that sells for $99 at other stores. In 1996, the Site-to-Site model was introduced I must have missed the store button on their website! It's my fault, of course, but I'll make sure to check prices more carefully next time.
