Questions & Answers
You will not only blend lumps, roots, and long grasses, but you can also make them stand out. This method will produce a fine and level surface that can easily be raked to remove any surfaces that may have other matter on them.
A trailer hitch ball can be hooked over the ring. The threaded link on the back of my lawn tractor is connected to it via a threaded link. The use of a large carabiner would be equally effective.
Generally, if you don't make a zero turn, it will work just fine. I use a garden tractor to pull mine and have not experienced any problems with power. The hooks that hold the sections together will come apart if I make too tight a turn.
Both have a rigid bar that crosses the harrow and is attached to a pull chain. This setup is perfect as it is. It doesn't pose any problems for me to pull them with my garden tractor.

5 acres of pasture, multiple yards, a long gravel driveway, and multiple outbuildings make up my property. I bought this mostly to knock down mole hills and manure piles in the pasture, but was curious what else could be done with it. It is in rough shape, with bumps, high and low spots, mounds, and other things. The 18 HP garden tractor with which I have no problem pulling it wasn't much of a problem. Since I started using the harrow a few weeks ago, I have been able to put it through its In some cases, it does a good job, in others it does ok, and in other cases it not a good job I am satisfied with the overall result. This product is of the right size, it is made well and it is One construction criticism I would offer is that there are two sections to the harrow itself, and if you make too tight a turn, the hooks can come loose. Is it good at what it does? The following - Grass is good for mole hills, but manure is not. I found that the tines turned down worked very well here. I was surprised by the results. The following - My gravel drive looked brand new after I refilled it. I was surprised at how well it A few passes with the tines down and then a second pass with them up resulted in a great looking driveway. Occasionally, grass can grow where the ground isn't bare. will not pull up that information. The following - The lawn should be mowed with dethatch. Typically I would not have noticed this but one pass with the tines down seemed to pull out dead grass without causing damage to Does it do what it needs to? The following - The ground is smooth and rough. In my pastures and on my lawns, there are bumpy spots, and I have a path that was bumpy from mud when the horses were in it. It was my hope that those would be handled by the harrow. The likelihood of it happening seems high, but it won't be soon. Several passes at the path were made and it's clearly better than before, but it There's still work to be done on one area of the pasture. I went over it several times again and again it needs improvement. Using a box scraper or blade would probably be more effective over the long term. If the harrow is not fast enough, a box scraper will usually solve the problem. The ground would also have been softer if I'd done this when it was warmer. In what ways is it unable to complete its tasks? The following - As a person, I have a lot of highs and lows. This is not going to be helped by a harrow. This will smooth them out over time, but it will not drastically alter their height. I need a box scraper or blade to do that. In summary, I'm glad I bought this attachment before other attachments because overall it's a good product. Although it smooths, it does not There is no need for fear of it being too aggressive for lawns, but it is strong enough to handle.
Having purchased it, I plan to level existing fields that are overgrown with weeds as well as my driveway and possibly my tilled fields. Attached you will see an example of a small area that I tested the drag on after it had been In the picture of the field, you can roughly see how well the weeds are removed. The size of the band is 50 feet The hook on the tow bar connecting rod was bent when I tried it out on my gravel driveway. The chain that connects it to the hitch is also much smaller (1/8th? ), so does that mean it is not holding properly I have no idea? It would have made sense for this chain to fail first.
I contacted Field Tuff (Miltona MN) per the instructions on the owners manual, and they told me it wasn't covered since it was used excessively. My attempt to use this machine in this field was centered on knocking down weeds prior to tilling. I followed the instructions in the owner's manual. In the meantime, the rest of the Drag appears to get the job done It seems impossible to bend a 1/2" hook while driving my ATV at a slow speed and not break the chain that connected it to the ATV Hitch. The rest of the Drag seems to be working as expected, except for the tow bar/hook.
This listing is up-to-date with the title and (mostly) specs for HDHA-450 as of March 2019. A listing for 59 has photos of several models. It gives some specs for other models (in one place it says 139 pounds, in another it says 99 pounds), and it finishes up by going on to say This is the model I received when I ordered from this listing 45 -44*. It appears field Tuff doesn't even make the HDHA--at first I thought I had gotten the wrong item, but after checking online maybe they don't even make it There appears to be no HDHA-59 anymore, so the seller has probably started shipping that as well Can you please put the 44s back We are dealing with a confusing mess that the seller needs to clean up and re-work THE PRODUCT (HDHA-) IS PRICED AT $130. The following applies to me in my case As an example, I tow mine on grass as well as on gravel behind my 20-' A "garden tractor" style mower with a power rating of about 40 HP. The only issue is that it doesn't do a very good job of breaking up chunks of moss and debris on grass We are knocking down molehills and other high spots with cuttings and by knocking down these high This is a tool that will scrape the ground like a heavy rake. Although I do not think the device is designed to pick up debris, it tends to collect sticks that are long enough to get tangled in it and narrow enough not to roll out from under it, which is a nice by-product It has an attractive rake when it is laid on gravel (tines down) In addition to breaking up high points, filling in low spots, and leaving groomed lines on the way, it gives a sculpted like effect. As I have very loose gravel, I imagine if you were using this on a harder rockier surface you would have to run many more passes and use additional tools in order to achieve.
