Questions & Answers

The following four links are either 2 or 4 links?

There is no error in the picture Links 4 and 5 do not exist. The two links are in fact linked to each other. In other words, every 2 links on the sidewall are skipped by a rung of chain. Their construction feels solid and they work great. The Cub Cadet XT1 I have is fitted with these and I adore them. The snow has encouraged me to be more confident. My garbage can trailer pulls almost like 4 wheel drive in the snow. In the snow, I can haul it uphill to my dumpster with a full garbage can in tow!

It will fit 18 x 9 inches. How much is 50 divided ?

As these are for 20x8x10, you will need to take off some links to fit them. It is my hope that this Take care and have a great day.

The chain I need is strong and fits my needs
5/5

These chains are wonderful, and I was really surprised at how well made they are. For my mountain camp, I had been using an old Cub Cadet mower that had worn down the grass. I just bought a new John Deere to replace it. In spite of the steep terrain at my home, even on dry ground I need chains to climb up to the garage and stay safe. Because my knowledge of steel chains for other purposes has led me to suspect that these chains would be of bad quality and would only last for a short time. I have to agree with other reviewers that the packaging is modest at best, but the box arrived intact, the chains were fine, and I was able to install them with little By going flat and removing the air from your tires, chains will easily fit into your tires, and they will hold tight for long-term use (an air compressor will come in handy, but tractor tires can carry about 10 pounds). In case of need, a hand pump could be used to refill). I did not mark up my paved driveway with the chains, they left no marks on the lawn, and they provided the traction I needed to mow While I have put the chains through some hard work, I cannot comment on their longer-term durability much yet, but I assume they will last as long as the ones on my old Cub Cadet, and that was more than a decade ago. I would probably be better off paying twice the price for these chains.

Tires 20 x 8 should be used
5/5

The chains fit the tires on my Husqvarna tractor with a 20x8x8 width. With this, it was really able to lug itself up and down the rolling hills and meadows that I have in my yard. We won't be losing traction when the tires slide away and the grass spins under the wheels. I found everything to be much safer this way. As well as using the medium plastic and rubber ties to hold them tight, those worked out great, In order to keep them from flopping off the side of the tire and rim, I tied the extra chains on with zip ties. Keeping up with the mowing and going up and down the hills is easy and inexpensive without the need for wheel weights. As well as not tearing up the grass.

We went from having no traction to having a was pulling a trailer and climbing a hill in snow with these chains, and they gave me a great deal of bite
5/5

The trip was buried under about 3 inches of snow, did I mention that? I'm in love with How are you able to go from zero traction to very positive traction in such a short time? That's too bad. It looks like Cub Cadet XT1 is an impressive device.

This is an essential tool if you live in a hilly area
5/5

I received exactly what I was promised. The product arrived in good shape after it arrived in great shape, and the box was not damaged during delivery. You will find this a game changer if you have hills to mow! I took roughly 20 minutes to install my first one. Once you get used to it, the installation of the second one becomes much simpler because you understand what they are trying Using a pair of vice grips to cinch the clasp also makes it easier to install the product once you have done so. I would also recommend using zip ties in addition to the vice grips once you have installed the product. As a whole, I am very pleased with this product. Through it, my lowly garden mower has become a sherman tank.

The fit is perfect
5/5

The wheels measure 20 inches by eight inches. The time now is 000. The fit is perfect. In pair with Security Chain Company QG20030 Quik Grip Small Tire Traction Chain Rubber Tightener - applied to tires and chains A set of two best and tight fitting wheels should be deflated.

Furthermore, I am also able to say that these tire chains are better quality than the other brands I have used
4/5

My mistake was not realizing just how much of it there was. Although these tire chains are very inexpensive, I feel that they are of better quality than other brands I have used in the past. A chain with two links would be so different from one with four links that I didn't realize how much of a difference it would make. As a result, there is no need for words. I've seen them on snow and ice and they are amazing. As long as you don't mind getting your hands dirty, they aren't that difficult to install on tires Also, the chain link fasteners appear to have been more durable since they are made from the same material as the chain link. The only minor complaint I have about the product is that they were packaged in a plastic bag and just shipped. Therefore, I removed a star. An opening was made (a rip, to be exact) in the shipping bag inside the cardboard shipping box. In fact, the instructions were so bad that they were literally rolled up in a ball like someone had thrown them in the trash bucket (one of them was torn). We don't need to be rocket scientists to figure this out. There is a high probability that the item I received was a return The reason why I think I know why is clear to me. Twisted links were present in one link of the chain. To get everything sorted out, I had to spend almost an hour on it. There was a time when it was not- Everything went well when the cable was twisted. There was evidently a lack of care in the way these were sent to me. My mileage may vary, so I am curious if yours will as well. Because of the price and the quality of the materials, I think it was a wise gamble I was able to get the best return from it. It would have been less of a hassle if the exchange wasn't so complicated. that, I would like to say Things are working well now and everything works as it should.

This is ideal for my Cub Cadet Lt 42
5/5

There are 20 blades on my lawn mower There are 8 size wheels for which these chains are perfect. It is not necessary to use a chain tensioner. I live on the side of a mountain with a couple acres of level ground, but there are some incline sections in the yard. Without chains, I experienced slipping tires sometimes as I moved from one spot to another. As long as I have the chains on, I get excellent traction, and I can now mow areas where I had to use a weed eater or push mower previously. It has only been about a week or two since I purchased these, so I can't speak to the durability. I've mowed my lawn a couple times before, and I'm amazed at the difference in traction and stability going up and down inclines. This is not to be taken too far - the mower is still a mower, not a camel. The skill and common sense that go into riding a lawn mower up an incline is important. As long as I work in proper limits, I feel safer with the additional traction chain provides, and they don't cause damage to my.

Tires with a diameter of 20" x 8" x 10" WILL NOT FIT
3/5

The Arnold 490-word dissertation I am 241-241 There is no fit for 20" x 8" x 10" tires on 0023 Lawn Tractor Rear Tire Chains. It is stated in the product description that it fits. Trying to install tire chains, I found that they were too short. It was a frustrating experience trying to prepare for the ice and snow storm that is forecast for the following day. I went to the John Deere dealership and purchased the correct There was an Arnold 490 that I took I am 241-241 I will take tire chains no. 0023 with me when I visit the dealership to compare John Deere tire chains are about 2" longer and wider than conventional chain chains. As well as the John Deere chains, they are heavier. These chains cost twice as much as those made by Arnold John Deere chains are double the cost. believe the Arnold tire chain will work for a tire about 20" x 8" x 8", but most certainly not for my tire about 20" x 8" x 10".
