Part 46780 is required, according to the parts diagram that came with my sweeper. This part costs $13. 38 ea. Amazon is the place to go.

It's probably a five. Inches. Everything went smoothly!

For the Craftsman 486 24222 sweeper, four brushes are required. Is it possible to apply these to a craftsman? What is the degree of difficulty in changing? Thanks! ?

I'm not sure if they'll work on a craftsman, but I believe they will. They are very simple to replace, taking about 15 minutes each.

Is identical to the one that disintegrated in my Craftsman Sweeper - It was a perfect fit and cost less than half of what Sears charges for it, including shipping. As the others begin to fail, I'll place another order.

For replacements, I would suggest this product

The bristles were a tad on the long side. I would recommend this product for replacements because it is fairly easy to cut down to size.
