That is not the case. This part from Minelab is recommended - 3011 It fits the CTX 3030 and is NACA 0114, which is a 6" coil.
If you have an Equinox 600 or 800, then it should work.
The label on it tells me it's a Minelab product, at least according to what I can tell from the packaging. In addition to the Equinox 600 and 800 detectors, this coil is also compatible with the Equinox 1800 detector.
The seller you are looking at may not be the one you are looking for. North Georgia Relics on Amazon has the coils that I have

IMHO, I have tested both machines side by side, and I believe this smaller coil to be superior in every way. These coils allow me to cherry pick targets and sort out iron and other nonsense so much better. Additionally, with it you can pinpoint more accurately than with It would only have the advantage of having wide open spaces with little trash if it was the biggest coil. Please note that this is NOT a free sample True story, I found a US Clad quarter lying on a rocky beach at the other day, the beach was rough and the coin was so worn that it had to have been there for a long time. While I dug I kept saying this is BS, it must be some piece of vertical iron bar giving me a false reading, but There was no way I could navigate this rock and sand mixture without a shovel, this coil is a beast and very well worth the money. Besides, my VDI signal and tone were provided from the initial detection until I clicked on the window.
The coil looks nothing like it should and is definitely not what it should be, as anyone who has seen it can easily see. Minelab is investigating, and I reported this issue. I was told it was a false alarm by Minelab. Make sure you research before you buy!.
I would say it is very small. Although I have no doubt that this coil will do a good job, I am not sure it will look very good. It appears that we are missing some targets with the stock's.
While the coil is not as outperforming as larger coils, it is effective in detecting fast movement in tight areas. I purchased this coil because I like to detect gold nuggets on grounds that can contain brass from bullets or steel from heavy equipment. I like searching for gold nuggets on grounds that may contain lead and copper from bullets. I would like to detect these areas at a slow pace, covering very narrow strips of ground with the coil. I have one more note for those who are unable to register the coil above on the Minelab website for some reason If that is the case, it does not mean that you have purchased a fake It would be best if you wrote an email explaining the issue you are having, or if you just gave In regard to my Minelab 6" coil for the Equinox detector I purchased at Amazon, it is not a fake.
Here is another great piece I made this Minelab product 6 months ago This coil is able to discriminate between the targets that are quite close together does it seem to lose any depth at all? I am very pleased with the product!.
It is amazing how well this coil separates. When you thought the hunt for a specific location was over, the targets start coming when you least expect them. The coil blows me away! I am over the moon pleased with it!.
With the 6 in coil, you can easily pin point a target and it's a pleasure to swing. It's a great weapon for trashy areas.
I like how sensitive it is. It is easy to handle since it's 6". You do not have to change any programs, you just turn it on, do the setup and it's ready to Because it is smaller, it finds stuff more individually. The only drawback is that it only clears an area of 6", and that it takes longer to clear a larger In contrast, my larger coil had sometimes difficulty seeing multiple things at the same time because it was detecting multiple things at the same time. This is DEFINITELY the second coil you should use if you have the standard coil that would have come with the 800.
