My next step was to trim the red breather tube back and drill a hole for vent relief near the base of the nozzle. There are some places where there are none The CARB nozzle has a hole drilled in it. It took me a while to clean up all of the mess. I like the way it works. This spout inevitably ends up on my can, which is why I don't leave it there The whole CARB compliant feature was nothing but a pain in my rear since I only attach it when I want to dispense gasoline.

The exact same brand of cans is available in four of my possessions. As opposed to the less expensive ones, they are sure worth the extra cost, as they come with proper coatings both inside and outside. I appreciate the quality of the welds and the ease of opening the lid. Other people feel cheap when they are around them. There's just one problem I bought a number of them and only half of them were in acceptable condition when I got them. In half of the fuel dispensers that I ordered, there were dents and scratches all the way down to the metal, along with cracks and loose joints around the point where the fuel line goes into the tank. My understanding is that shipping was not to blame, but the way they were packed would lead me to believe otherwise. Whenever I order something new, it has to be in pristine condition, not after being in service for several weeks.

I ordered 4 of these and three of them arrived the way they should. One of them appears to have rust There was no difference in the way the 4 items were packed and wrapped in plastic and paper. There were no damage marks on the packaging, so I can only guess that these were damaged at the point of origin. In my opinion, this would lead me to believe that neither quality assurance nor control exist at I had planned to buy more of these, but due to their QA issues I cannot recommend them.

Browse the aisles of Wal-Mart and you will find Cheap plastic gasoline cans with CARB spouts and no vents can be found at Wal-Mart and Lowe's for a few bucks. It is impossible to use one of these cans without spilling fuel everywhere. They don't last long, don't hold much, and their "earth-saving" spouts do not work. There is some cost involved with these Wavian jerry cans, but the price is worth it. It's not Wavian's fault the spout is so ridiculous, since it's a result of misguided laws. A new spout whose vent is on the spout itself worked just fine after I replaced the old one with one purchased through Amazon. Despite their size and design, these cans are sturdy and easy to handle. While you might have to pay a little more, you'll end up better off than if you bought a cheap plastic gas can, and you'll have it for decades to come.

Spout attachments aren't used at our facility. The second time I tried it, I had trouble using it. As an alternative, we decided to use a small funnel. As far as the can itself is concerned, it's a sturdy piece of equipment that has lasted hundreds of miles strapped to the roofrack and survived some severe conditions. The best accessory to go with this product is a sturdy holder. In this case, we fabricated them ourselves.

I'm at home. There were no leaks and the vehicle traveled thousands of miles in any condition. A special lining keeps the fuel from rusting due to the material under the lid. In spite of a tight fit, I bought two more 10 liter cans in the same design for my 4x4 and not a drop leaked! I think they will last for decades because they are sturdy and well built. They are a little more expensive than most but I think they will last for years. I love how strong and positive the lid closure is. It doesn't leak at all.

Thanks to the cleverly designed spout, I like how easy it is to disperse gas. Plastic gas cans that I see in the modern world are very dangerous to use to fill a vehicle with gas, their spouts are simply too long to handle safely. It is not a budget version, as all I can say is that it is not cheap. made very well, the materials are strong and the design is intelligent. Although I've been using this gas can for over a year now, I have yet to find anything negative to say about it. I am very particular about quality.

Make sure you don't get discouraged by bad reviews. When I received this Jerry can, the previous reviews made me slightly nervous, but when you open it, you'll be amazed at how well it works. You can lock up the nozzle in a nice and tight mount. Those welded seams are smooth and good quality, and the engineered is well done. This is a great gas can and is very well made. Even came in the color I ordered without any issues! I highly suggest you get a mount to go with it, but all in all, I’ll buy another.
