I find it perfectly suited to my needs.
In product data, it is stated that the item can accommodate splitters that have dimensions up to 84"L x 45"W x 34".
Powerhorse's 35 ton capacity will be a little short of this. When powerhorse turns 86, it becomes the heaviest horse on the circuit As this cover will fit up to 83" long, it is 1/2"
It is necessary to have the Splitter in a horizontal position before a cover can be placed over the entire machine, but they can be easily lowered before the cover is situated. You will be glad you lowered your machine to be covered if you want to protect it. A cover attaches very well to a 22 ton splitter once folded down.

Our 27 ton Troy-Bilt truck has around a Honda engine, so this is the third one I've purchased in the past seven or eight years. The site was built by Bill. Despite being exposed to intense sun and high winds, they struggle to survive in the high Nevada desert. In my opinion, this one seems to be a little better than the first two and is cheaper at $22 compared to $28 the last time I bought it There are not near as many stitches in this one as in the previous ones, so it should allow the wind to tear it without tearing holes in it. Having learned what I needed to learn after the two previous instances, I now know to pull the pin on the ram activating handle to stop The tape I had to hand was foam camper shell tape, so I taped it around all the sharp edges that were at risk of cutting through. Our log splitter needs to be maintained regularly, so it is worth the money. This one should be good for two years like all my other ones, so I'll be happy with the price I paid. When you consider the prices, I can't understand why people give these bad reviews. With two years out of one, I figure it's easily worth it for the cheap price. Like I said, put something or foam on sharp edges to prevent them from tearing.
" It is sturdy enough and has nice elastic. Our previous tarp came from harbor freight, but putting it on with bungees was a hassle each time, and the tarp would only last a few days before getting torn apart.
Unless you are a health nut, you wouldn't mind the elastic sewn into the opening for $25! I love how easy it is to put on and how well it stays on. In the end, we decided to cut several pieces of insulating foam pipe and make some pads for the pointy bits of the splitter before putting the cover on, in order to prevent them from wearing.
Currently, I am using it on a 25ton log splitter from Tractor Supply. In addition to protecting the body of the splitter from the elements, it also covers it well. In fact, it does not reach all the way over the hitch ball, but it is long enough to cover it in part. keep the splitter outside for the moment, but the drawback of this cover is that there is no tie-down system The downs are weak, so I weight them down with pieces of firewood in case a strong wind blows them away. Additionally, I find the bag that comes with it to be a little bothersome because it is attached permanently to the cover. As a result of the way the bag is attached, water can fill it during a thunderstorm.
Using this cover, I am able to protect my Huskee log splitter that weighs 22 tons. It was necessary to re-check the cover before I glued it on I placed the valve handle on the machine and wrapped all sharp edges. I also mounted some plastic Folgers coffee cans on the tongue hitches. Our most recent 3 day wind storm with 50mph gusts didn't blow the cover off. I had my doubts about it staying on in the wind, but it did. My personal opinion is that I like this item far more than getting my hands dirty with tarps.
Due to the thinness of this cover, I expect it to not last for very long. The cover I use for my splitter mostly lies in my garage and I only use it when I leave it outside overnight while I split wood. If I were to use it continuously, it would be ruined within a year. If I were to use it intermittently, it would probably not be able to last that long. After a pretty good thunder storm overnight, I had left it outside and it was watertight as well as elastic banding kept it on the splitter. I am fine with the payment.
As it turns out, I purchased this item in hope that it would fit. That's exactly right! We just experienced a Nor'Easter with extremely high winds here in New York, and this cover did not move. The tarp would never have allowed that to happen! (I'd still be chasing it 5 Stars! )
Thanks!.
I bought this to be my first one. It lasted about two weeks I tore where my hydro valve is located on a Speeco 35 ton about 3 years ago. It has endured several bad storms and a couple of cold Despite being almost three years old, my splitter still looks like new. It covers well and doesn't come off. One of the best things about it is that it's much cheaper than It will tear out when it fades to grey from exposure to sun. The only con is once it fades to grey from exposure to sun, it becomes fragile. With its low price, it's a better cover than any other you can buy. In full sun, wind, snow, etc, I use my splitter constantly at my wood pile. If I had a wood shed or garage, I would probably be able to use this.
I really appreciate having a product that fits my Countyline 30Ton Comparing other products offered by Amazon, I think you can't go wrong with this one for the price. There is even room for a second log table on my splitter and still fits without any problem. I hope it will hold up since the material feels like a typical gas grill cover and the stitching appears to be very strong. I could not find a cover anywhere for my splitter and TSC does not even carry a cover for their splitter lineup, but now I am more than happy I found it here! In the near future I plan on purchasing another one to serve.
