I believe that is the case. Because the panel appears to be well-painted, there should be little to no prep required.
In about a week, the access door with the screwdriver latch should be back in stock.
Because the actual door that opens is only 14" x 14," you'll need to make your hole slightly larger than that in order for the door frame to fit. So, in response to your question, will it fit in a 13? 75 x 13. The answer to question 75 is no. However, if you can modify that hole, this door has a great feature in that it has a one-inch overhang that will cover any major mistakes you make while enlarging it. By the way, this is a fantastic door. It is not only well-made, but it also allows you to completely remove the door when installing it or working in the area to which it opens. I'm hoping you'll be able to pull this off.

If your walls are 1/2 inch thick, the frame of this product does not go deep enough into the wall to be fastened to the studs. The hole for inserting screws is centered on the line-of-sight. The stud and the sheetrock must be in contact. A secure connection will not be established in this manner. This may work if you have thinner wall panels, such as 1/4 inch or less, but not with 1/2 inch. I returned it to you. br>br>On the plus side, it's metal rather than that cheap plastic, so I gave it a "2" rather than a "1. " It would probably work fine in a different wall. Acudor, on the other hand, produces a superior product that is more durable and has wider flanges. It penetrates the wall far enough to provide a secure grip. Instead, go for one of theirs.
While it is more expensive than alternatives, it is well worth the investment in areas where appearance matters. br>br>It installs quickly and easily between standard (14-inch) (14-inch) (14-inch) standard (14-inch) standard (14-inch) standard ( framing members (approximately 1/2" in diameter) To conceal gas shutoff valves, we installed a finished lower level ceiling. This is a functional metal access door that appears to be quite durable. I used it to get to a bathtub faucet in a closet that was on the opposite side of the wall. The only thing I didn't like about it was that there was no way to open it with a handle. I had to make my own and attach it.
(Strong, easy to install (but can be opened from the inside without a key) but can be openedd from the inside without a key).
Used to gain access to water pipes in the walls! It appears to be fantastic. It's simple to set up!.
This was installed in the ceiling of my downstairs study to allow me access to the plumbing beneath my master shower. Two 2x4s were installed between the floor joyce and the metal hatch was mounted to them. With a quick turn of a flat-bladed screwdriver, you can now I can get to the plumbing because of my head.
Excellent access door. I'm glad I purchased this instead of the plastic one I had originally ordered. It's very simple to set up.
