It was a bit uncomfortable to fit my hands in the large size. I have a few too long fingers, and my fingers are tight. In any case, they do as described and I can use them to pick up hot pans and grill. However, fine manipulation of any kind is out of the question. Edit

As soon as I started using it, all of my problems disappeared. A bit of breaking in was all it needed. With my new gloves, getting them on and off is a breeze they fit comfortably, and I can grasp spatulas and tongs easily. A remarkable feature of this material is its heat resistance. While pulling pans from the oven, many of my previous mitts and gloves would actually start to melt. Here we don't have that! It's hard to believe that these really are five-star Definitely someone to look up to.
