They have so far been quite useful to me, and I have tried them a dozen times. You must treat them once they have been cleaned and used as if they were Teflon coated surfaces, and therefore how you handle these items (with metal utensils or abrasive pads) will determine whether they will break down or not. Then, I recommend only using plastic utensils to clean, and abrasive sponges that won't harm Teflon. They won't attract bacteria, and they clean up easily, so you can tell which are brand new and which ones are used. The drip container would have been much more useful if the greases and liquids were directed into grooves in these at some point. Whether loaded with juicy meat or others, the greases that cook off run off the sheets and dirty the grill, and that is why I preferred not to use these sheets. In a sense, it's like cooking in a pan (as opposed to a grill grate), but the flavor seem better on the grill rather than the.
