Weber 7425 Gourmet BBQ System Wok,Black

My weber charcoal grill has been enhanced with this product. For the past two days, I have made both fajitas and stir-fries The wok should be heated enough to fry the chicken. Each time, I cooked the meat for a few minutes before adding vegetables and cooking them for a few minutes more. There was only a hint of smoke in a meal that was cooked quickly and evenly. This recipe is the first of many I hope to try. One slight disadvantage for this wok is it must be cleaned gently each time you use it. I had to soak it twice each time I used it to avoid scrubbing as recommended by the manufacturer. My recommendation to all charcoal grill enthusiasts is no doubt this wok.

When it is mentioned that the wok is porcelain enameled, I would expect to see an enamel surface with a smooth texture. There is no evidence to support this. It was a bit disappointing that, to put it mildly, the seller's explanation did not convince me. Though I like this work, it needs to be described in a clear and true manner. A second issue is that no lid is included. The wok will not work for you if you need a lid for any reason. Neither the opening nor the lid will fit this wok because it is 13 inches wide, which is very rare, and the opening is not round. The handles extend further than the rest of the container. If you find a perfect lid that measures 13 inches, you will not be able to use it. Unless you plan to use it on an open fire or a large gas range, the wok is a good choice.

The products offered by Weber are usually excellent. My first experience with this brand is a dud. I didn't like the enamel coated cast iron wok. It was usually almost impossible to clean after each use, after I'd used mine twice. It wasn't until after the refund period was over that I realized it was quite so bad. If they offer a plain carbon steel wok once seasoned, they will last for a lifetime and are easy to maintain. I think that this design was way too complex, so it didn't work.

The wok is heavy, which suggests good quality. The finish looks like a non-stick coating to me, but I can't figure out what it is Glue sticks. As it turns out, it sticks a lot more than I expected. There is no information on whether the finish is porcelain-coated cast iron or seasoned cast iron An enameled surface. As I've only used it once so far, I need to experiment more with it to reduce any user errors that might occur. The section of the grate with a removable center was very handy for use in my Weber Performer which has the deluxe grate. There was probably too much heat in my apartment.

was able to feel the weight of it while still in the box and already knew it would be returned because it is a quality product. Cooking with such a heavy item would prove to be too difficult for the old man. I do not have any negatives in my performance other than that. This is a solid product.

Having this piece of cookware makes me feel like a professional. I was pleasantly surprised by the handle design and the overall finish. It came clean and ready to use after I washed it and dried it with warm water and soap. This is a very good book.

There is a contradiction in the directions which state not to season with oil, but the food burns even when you do. The food at Cook's is superb. You should be careful since it stays hot for ever.

I'm in love with it. It would have been great if we had received it sooner. For the Weber Spirit, we have it.
