Selected User Reviews For Backyard Life Gear Hinged Lid for 36 inch Blackstone Griddle with Rear Grease Collection - Black
I rarely write reviews because the majority of the items I order are exactly what I expected; however, this is exceptional. The design has been meticulously considered. It is simple to set up. I've been looking for a lid/cover for my 36" Blackstone griddle that I can steam and bake with. In between uses, use to cover. Everything is taken care of with this. The best part is that it is manufactured in the United States by a small family-owned business. If I had the option, I would give it ten stars.
My 36" Blackstone Griddle has a perfect fit. br>Installation is simple, but if you have handles on the sides, remove them first and then reinstall. br>The only flaw I discovered is that the lid has no way to lock it when open; it needs a locking pin or something to prevent it from falling open and hitting your arm while cooking, as mine did.
I needed this for my 36" Blackstone griddle and found it exactly what I needed. It not only protects it, but it can also be used while cooking, such as melting cheese on burgers or keeping the heat on the griddle top for faster cooking of chicken, burgers, steaks, vegetables, or whatever. I had a question for the company and they responded within a few hours, which I found to be exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend this product.
The hinged cover is a fantastic addition to our Blackstone Grill; it's well-made and simple to install, and it comes with clear instructions. There are a few things that everyone should be aware of: If the handles on the ends of your grill are installed, they must be removed before the hinges on the grill body can be installed. You can re-install the hinges after they've been installed. When you put the handles on, there will only be a 1/16" gap on the hinge side, which isn't a big deal. br>br>The reason it only got four stars instead of five is that if the lid is left closed while cooking, the handle to open it gets very hot. A wooden or other material insulator attached to the handle would make a big difference because it has no insulation and transmits all of the heat from the lid directly into your hand.
It went up in a flash and fits perfectly! I only have one griddle, so I'm not sure I'll ever need another, but YOU should definitely get one!.
Easy to install and a perfect fit for the Blackstone 36". The finish is well-matched, and it looks fantastic. It's a breeze to open and close this door.
This is a fantastic product that works well with my 36. For the Firefighter Fajita Banquet last weekend, I cooked about 100 pounds of onions and bell pepper. The lid does a great job of keeping the heat in the cooking area. The onions' carmelization time is sped up significantly as a result of this. And if the question has yet to be posed. Cooking can be done with the lid off. No, the handle does not become hot. In addition, I'd like to point out. . . If you want to remove the griddle from the grill for transport, the lid does not get in the way; no tools are required. To transport the griddle, simply lift the lid, remove it, and replace it.
This 36" hinged griddle cover is the best on the market because it not only stores itself without having to lift it and hang it on the back of the griddle, but it also doubles as a cover to raise the cooking temperature and melt cheese on burgers. The screws that hold this to the Blackstone Griddle may be very tight, according to the instructions. To say the least, it's an understatement. I had to make do with a pair of channel-switching headphones. To loosen all four screws, use pliers that lock. Don't strip the Phillips heads for the sake of saving time. Take out your pliers and gently pull them out. br>It's a fantastic cover, and it also looks fantastic!.
