I was impressed by the quality and how substantial it feels. The bottom plate is smooth due to the fact that it is welded and not riveted. The price of this product actually surprised me as I was expecting a poor quality product. I would definitely recommend it. I find this to be a really interesting press release. Then you can just lay it down on top of your steak or burger so that it keeps heating evenly and does not curl up. A curled steak or burger will not heat evenly because of its shape. You need to press it down, but try not to squeeze it! A downward force causes the meat to be dry and not juicy since the juice is forced out when pushed down.
